You are awesome, yes this worked. I guess I should not rely on unifail anymore. Thanks again! EDIT- I think I spoke too soon. It booted the installer fine, it installed fine, it even booted into Mohave fine, but I went and restarted without fixing the internal EFI, and now it won't boot via the USB installer's clover, doesn't matter if I try to boot to the internal HDD or the usb's installer. I keep getting "Waiting on..." and something about IOProviderClass string ID="1", I suspect it's something to do with USB, but why would it have worked then all of a sudden stopped working. Same USB drive, tried all three USB ports on the computer...

Can anyone help, I'm in desperate need of using XCode and the latest version requires Mojave.

Or if anyone is willing to share their EFI folder from their installer- its so strange that installing High Sierra was so easy and yet the Mojave installer won't even boot.

That would be amazing, you're walking me back off of the ledge

Can I ask, how did you install Mojave without working USB ports? I have the same computer and can't for the life of me get the installer to boot. High Sierra was no problem, but Mojave is not happening. I even just now tried your EFI folder and same thing, circle with line through it, or in verbose mode all the txt get distorted.
