  1. Ok thanks. Mine is just 1Mb, the silent is 2. And it’s silent I make music on it
  2. Had my Dell Precision T1650 Hackintosh up and running after not using it for months. When I came in today, the screens had frozen. No response. So I turned off the computer and restarted. Black screens. I discovered the graphics card was very loose in the socket (no screws) and I accidentally managed to loosen it even more while the computer was on. Turned off the computer and made sure the card was well seated in the slot. But now my screens just report “no input”. The fan on the card turns on. Questions: Is it probably the card that has died or the slot on the motherboard? If it is the card, what card could I use instead that is cheap and works right away? The card I have now is GeForce GTX 650Ti 1024M Can I use Radeon HD 5750? (Found one cheap)
  3. Just copied boot an clover folder from my USB Install disk to the hard drive EFI folder. Didnt touch the Apple folder. It worked fine Boots up without the USB stick and no problems so far.
  4. I have (for now) successfully in stalled Mojave on my Dell Precision T1650. I downloaded clover configurator to copy clover folder to the Mac EFI folder. But the folders look very different. Should I copy both boot and clover folder? See attached screen grab. Mac EFI folder on top and USB on bottom
  5. I had to use windows for a while in my composing studio, but now I am moving over to Hackintosh (always been a Mac user). My problem is that I have two internal 800 gig SSD disks full of sample banks that I use in my projects. They are NTFS formatted. Can I use those in Mojave (system disk will of course be Mac formatted)? Will I have less speed or any other limitations if I keep them as they are? A lot of work if I have to reformat. I then have to back everything to an external disk, reformat and then move everything back
  6. Thanks. Just to be clear before I start. 1. make install USB stick (done) 2. Run Clover and install it 3. Replace the clover folder within EFI folder with the custom one 4. Done? One question. Will I have to make a new serial number for my new "Mac"?
  7. Does it matter what version of Clover I install before copying the custom clover folder?
