  1. Hello! Using your wonderful site I've been able to install Mojave 10.14.2 on my 7490. I'm even booting off an external USB-C NVME caddy until later when I can swap the internal NVME out. (still need the os on there for the time being). I'm also using a USB AC600 until purchased DW1830 appears. However, I'm still struggling to get the trackpad and the sound working. Assistance is requested, thanks in advance.

  3. Hi, i've installed on my pc MacOS Mojave but after installation my pc, sometimes, crash giving kernel panic. I came to the conclusion that it is a random kernel panic because sometimes it starting up and other times it isn't starting up and this is caused for my Wi-Fi chipset (BCM94350ZAE), also, after a few minutes, the PC freezes with cursor slowing and Wifi has disconnected P.S Sorry for my Bad English and my incompetence. 6. Hi all! I am currently using Mojave and the VoodooPS2Controller and the Trackpad works well but I don't have any gesture. I tried to use the ApplePS2SmartTouchPad kext and gestures works (Only the 4 fingers tho) but the clicks are not ok and it's unusable for that. My friend has a T480S with an Elan trackpad and that kext works very well on his laptop. My trackpad is a Synaptics one and i read that is supported one the ApplePS2 kext. I tried already to change some plist values of the kext without success. Can someone help me to have a fully functional trackpad? Thanks in advance EDIT: I tried the VoodooPS2 and SSDT-KBD.aml from the Clover folder of the following post but I think is the same from mine VoodooPS2 (trackpad ok but no gestures).
  7. Hi folks. Last year I had an E5520 working with Sierra, today I managed ist to install and use 10.14.2 on a E5530 (i5 3220M). What is working? - WiFi, replaced origin Intel Card with an AR9285 based card (168c:002b) - the same I used in the E5520 - Ethernet, used "FakePCIID_BCM57XX_as_BCM57765.kext", just had to add my pciID in "info.plist" (14e4:1681) - Graphics, INTEL HD4000 fully accelerated, I think it is because of FakePCIID_Intel_HD - Sound, VoodooHDA - Keyboard, VoodooPS2 - SSD Trim (enabled it via "sudo trimforce enable") What is not working? - SD-Card Reader - Touchpad + Touchpad-Buttons, VoodooPS2 only enables the Keyboard - Sleep, just goes into Sleep for about 1 second and than it powers up again (no user interaction) I must say that I have done this all with no patched DSDT or SSDT... Just only kext's are used. I'll attach my Clover folder.... maybe somebody can help me patching those files? Thanks in advance! CLOVER.zip
  8. Acer Aspire V15 V5-591G - Mojave 10.14.4 (Note: mine is 55TU version, but the bootpack will work fine with another versions of 591G, for example: V5-591G-71K2, -764Z, -59PU, etc.) Specifications: - Motherboard: USOPP_SLS (Skylake-H PCH) - BIOS: Insyde Corp. v 1.15 - CPU: Intel Core i5-6300HQ 2.3 GHz (Skylake) - GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M 2 GB (Optimus) & Intel HD Graphics 530 - RAM: SK hynix 4 GB DDR4 (Later I bought + KINGSTON 4 GB) 2133 MHz - WiFi + Bluetooth: Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA344A 5 GHz (Later -> Broadcom BRCM94352Z M.2 5 GHz WiFi + 4.0 Bluetooth) - Audio: Realtek HD Audio: ALC 255 - Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168/8111 - Card Reader: Realtek USB 2.0 Card Reader (USB2.0-CRW) - Webcam: HD Webcam - HDD: TOSHIBA MQ01ACF032 320 GB HDD - SSD: SPCC M.2 230 GB SSD - Display: 1366x768 (15.6", Matte) - Battery: 6 cell 56Wh / 5040mAh - Connectors: 1x SD Card Reader 2x USB 3.0 (1x USB Charging), 1x USB 2.0 1x VGA 1x HDMI 1x 3.5mm microphone/audio combined jack connector 1x Ethernet (Rj-45) - Keyboard & Touchpad: Multi-Touch & Multi-gestures ELAN 501 Touchpad, Backlight Keyboard. For Wi-Fi: - 1st method: You can choose an external USB wifi dongle (I used TP-Link Archer T1U (5GHz support), TP-Link has official macOS drivers, you just need to install it - 2nd and I think the best method: Replace your M.2 Qualcomm Card with a compatible BCM94352Z card (you will have hand-off Bluetooth too), just install the kexts (enabled with BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext, FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, they're all in my attached zip). Before updating to a new version of Mojave please update kexts (and clover if necessary) to newer versions to avoid kernel panics. Generate a serial number with Clover Configurator.app (open up your config.plist with CC then -> SMBIOS -> Serial Number -> Generate New) Mojave & Windows 10 Dual-Boot: Dual-boot clean install (on one drive), UEFI Only: Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac), Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart, Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 5. You're done! It will booting into Clover when you start the system, and you can select Win or Mac (or another OS if installed on a 3rd partition). Dual-boot with Windows installed first (on one drive), UEFI Only: If you already have Windows and you don't want to lose all your data there is a hope: I created a video from this restore method: [Hackintosh] Dual-Boot High Sierra & Windows - when Windows already installed - no data waste - UEFI You need bootable Mac Installer and a full system restore image (link is in my video's description). (You may see errors if your EFI partition is not 200 MB) Boot into your Windows, resize your partition or create one for Mac. Boot into your Mac installer and in Disk Utility format the partition you created. Restore from image: select your full system restore image. When it's finished restoring you just need to restart, then boot to the system with your usb. When you successfully booted to Mac desktop, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), open EFI, you will see there is a Microsoft folder already (don't touch that!). Copy my CLOVER folder to the EFI folder then Restart. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 7. You're done! You can select your old Windows and your new macOS! (Only tried with Windows 8/8.1/10. I don't know Windows 7,etc.) IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING MAC RESTORE: - Make sure you have partitions in GPT - Windows using 100 MB EFI and will annoy the Mac restore. Don't worry, just ignore the errors. IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING WINDOWS INSTALLATION (could not be formatted, etc): - Make sure you have GPT partitions, and GPT (UEFI) installer, also disconnect all external storage drives (except the installer USB) IF YOU USED RESTORE METHOD THEN CAN'T MOUNT YOUR EFI PARTITION (No EFI partition found): - It's because your EFI is not 200 MB or not an "Apple" original EFI, but do not worry, try another EFI mounter, or mount from terminal (I used EFI mounter v3: Getting errors, but you can mount and use without problem) - You also could "mount" the EFI from Windows: 1st method: open cmd in administrator mode and type: diskpart list vol (Now select the "System" volume,(FAT 32) For example I select 4) sel vol 4 list part (Select System type partition, for example 2) sel part 2 assign letter=b (This will "mount" your EFI partition) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI remove letter=b (This will "unmount" your EFI) 2nd method: open cmd in administrator mode and type: mountvol b: /s (This will mount your EFI) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI mountvol b: /d (This will unmount your EFI) Thanks to all OSXLatitude members for helping me out! (Jake Lo, Hervé, Bronxteck, black.dragon74)! Notes: 2019.03.30: Fixed USB 3.0 ports, fixed Bluetooth crashes after sleep -> updated bootpack 2019.03.28: Updated to 10.14.4. E5520 Mojave

I've been given a e5520 i3 HD3000 (low resolution) to set up OSX. I've got Mojave running, but its not stable. Could you patch the DSDT and help with a config.plist? Thanks! Update 4/14/19: 10.14.4 working. Attached (low resolution) pack. E5520.zip origin.zip config_HD3000_1366x768.plist.zip
  10. Upgraded to 10.14 public beta, so far I have these issues no sound (ALC255) memory is reporting correct amount but about this Mac does not show the memory slots populated, it shows empty. if you have a similar system, before you upgrade do the following back up your EFi and OS. update clover to the latest when installing clover, there is a new option to install apfsdriverloader.efi, without this, once the installation is done, you will not see your OSX drive. if you don't want to load that driver, then you will need the latest APFS.EFI either driver needs to be installed in the Drivers64UEFI folder.
  11. I succeeded in installing Mojave with e7240. I thank all the participants of this wonderful forum. Both audio and WiFi are running smoothly. Bluetooth does not work, but it is natural. Because Hervé is recommending replacing, as follows. My procedure is very simple. 1) First of all, read Hervé's post carefully. 2) Next, follow the great content of Jake Lo. * My Kext referred to the contents of this article. * Please let me express my sincere gratitude once again.

  14. Hello, I have Latitude E5450 Intel core i7-5600 @ 2.6 GHz with a 1080p laptop screen. I try to install Mojave, no panic at clover boot but when the welcome screen from apple was bad. Could you tell me what is wrong ? Thanks a lot Jean-Luc
  15. Just wanted to share that I was successful on installing Mojave 10.14.2 on a Precision T1650. This system was shipped with an Intel i3-3220, I was not able to get the iGPU (HD2500) working correctly after installing macOS. I just got a flickering screen with a mouse cursor shown, the only way to get some screen output was booting with "-x". Therefore I decided to put my old Geforce GTX650Ti into the system to get at least some metal support. Now the. system is working perfectly. For everyone else, I attached my CLOVER folder. Feel free to use it for your own build. CLOVER_Precision_T1650.zip

  19. Hi, As we are close to having the final build for MacOS Mojave, I've started to prepare myself for the update. I'm currently using High Sierra. I want to make a fresh install. My steps were: 1) Download Mojave and make bootable disk (via createinstallmedia); 2) Install the last Clover version; 3) Copied the same config.plist used in High Sierra I'm facing a kernel panic, probably because of wrong (or missing) patches. Find attached a screenshot, origin folder and EFI folder. @Jake Lo, can you help me with this? Cheers, Rafael Siqueira origin.zip EFI.zip

  22. Hi, I'm trying to install macOS 10.14.1 on Latitude 5590 and make the guide. So... 1. Configurate BIOS (v. 1.5.0) Attachments below; change something or it looks ok? 2. Create boot pen https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/unifail-install-macos-mojave-on-any-supported-intel-based-pc.259381/#uefi_settings I think that the last solution is the best for create bootable pen drive but need some changes to works with Dell. I mixed folders and can boot the installer. For beginners - mount EFI partition by Clover Configurator and overwrite folders with EFI.zip (Edit: 28.11.2018). 3. Config On installer touchpad (I2C HID and Alps Virtual HID) not work. I don't have a mouse, so is it possible for the touchpad and track pointer to work? I tried file from but 1. not work, 2. i haven't found how to fix it by file and code from the second page. Boot video - WiFi won't work because all Intel Wifi devices aren't supported . BIOS options

  25. So I have installed Mojave 10.14, and per requested by Jake Lo, I am creating this topic to state that I need assistance in setting up my DSDT (as my screen goes black when attempting to boot from my prior DSDT.aml, so currently using BIOS.aml), Only one of my USB ports works (on the right side), and for the life of me (not for the lack of trying), have been unsuccessful in regards to getting my sound working using AppleALC. Hopefully I will be able to have a nice patron assist me and be my wingman in finalizing this setup... My hardware specs are in "About Me" in the Profile. Maybe Teamviewer with someone (if requested)? Thank you, and blessings!
