  1. Hello Hervé, Thanks to your guide for Dell E6230 Mojave - I was able to successfully install Mojave in a very straightforward manner. However, I've got 2 issues as listed below and hoping you could guide me in fixing it, please? 1) I'm just unable to get the stock Bluetooth working and there are no kext files for the same in your bootpack for Mojave. 2) Left USB i.e eSATA port is no longer detecting and devices connected to it. You've mentioned about an Hackintool in the description but again the boot pack doesn't have the USBports.kext? any help from you end would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
  2. Heys guys I just updated my system to macOS Catalina Beta. Before that I updated my kexts but is now stuck due to panic. I have attached the output of verbose and debug=0x100
  3. Hi! Thanks a lot! CPU-Z-LAP-DELL.txt.zip CLOVER.zip
  4. Hi, Finally I finished the installation of 10.14.6 on my Dell E5440. Everything works just fine, but HDMI will not work. Every time I plug it in, it causes a grey screen on my laptop monitor. Also on boot up. I attached my EFI Folder, maybe someone can help me. I searched a bit and read something about Azul Framebuffer Kext. Thank you for helping. Greedings, Hugo EFI EFI.zip
  5. Hello guys, I am currently running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 on my Dell Latitude 5580. Its starting to get a bit slow so I attempted to boot into recovery mode and restore Time Machine backup. To my dismay my recovery partition isn’t booting up. It is shown in the Clover Menu but every time a panic results and the system restarts. I can however boot to macOS perfectly. Kindly someone point out the possible issue? P.S. I had the hackintosh bootable USB at the disposal but I just want the recovery partition to work right from the HDD.
  6. Hi @Jake Lo On reboot, the Bluetooth device needs to be removed and reconnected to get it to work again. Is there something that can be fixed here?
  7. Hello I am in need of some assistance getting this card to work. I have followed the guide by Hervé and my laptop will not boot if i add the pci parameters in clover. I did manage to get the laptop to boot once with working wifi and everything except the trackpad (but that was due to a faulty config.plist) and i fixed the config plist file and now it will not boot with injected pci device again... I have attached my clover zip and have also attached a screenshot from ioregistry. Any advice or guidence is highley appreciated. the Card is verified to have a 14e4:43a3 (rev 08) Subsystem: 1028:0021 (CN-0VW3T3) CLOVER.zip
  8. Hi All, I am new here and after struggling for over 16 hours, I finally managed to install MAC OS 10.14.6 on my Dell E5540. A big THANK You to all the members in the forum who helped me get this far. Bluetooth, WiFi, Sound, and Display working!! I am stuck with the last piece, my HDMI port is not working. Connecting HDMI cable makes the laptop display go black and my monitor doesn't detect any signal. From this point, there is no way to recover the display and I need to do a force reboot. I would like to use a monitor in my setup as the laptop display is not that great. Can someone please help me in layman terms? Sorry for my lack of knowledge on this matter. Appreciate help on this.
  9. sorry for my English Hello everyone, maybe this will help someone. I tried to create USB with a new E6440_HD4600_Only_Mojave, which @Jake Lo have posted. Installation hangs with it: 2 minutes are left and there are also artifacts (image glitches) at beginning of installation, but this is only with the new version of Clover 4934, but with Clover 4920 everything works fine. Also, the new Clover r4934 loaded my old installation 10.13.6 bad: artifacts, without video memory. Therefore, the new boot pack is not compatible with the latest Clover. You must use version Clover r4920 + E6440_HD4600_Only_Mojave. My EFI folder in attach. Thanks @Jake Lo @Hervé There is one problem left, there is no sound after getting out of sleep, who knows how to solve? EFI.zip
  10. Hello! Using your wonderful site I've been able to install Mojave 10.14.2 on my 7490. I'm even booting off an external USB-C NVME caddy until later when I can swap the internal NVME out. (still need the os on there for the time being). I'm also using a USB AC600 until purchased DW1830 appears. However, I'm still struggling to get the trackpad and the sound working. Assistance is requested, thanks in advance.
  11. I want to install the macOS on XPS13 9360, but I can't enter the installation interface. Is it because my DSDT is wrong? Can someone help me? i5 8250U / NVMe 256G / 8G / DW1830 CLOVER.zip
  12. Just wanted to share that I was successful on installing Mojave 10.14.2 on a Precision T1650. This system was shipped with an Intel i3-3220, I was not able to get the iGPU (HD2500) working correctly after installing macOS. I just got a flickering screen with a mouse cursor shown, the only way to get some screen output was booting with "-x". Therefore I decided to put my old Geforce GTX650Ti into the system to get at least some metal support. Now the. system is working perfectly. For everyone else, I attached my CLOVER folder. Feel free to use it for your own build. CLOVER_Precision_T1650.zip
  13. The questions says it all. I have set up mojave 10.14.5 How I can enable brightness control via functions keys. Its irritating that you have to go to System Pref>Display every time to change it. Debug files are attached. debug_3170.zip
  14. Hello, with the help of incredible team here at osxlatitude I am able to successfully perform the post installation sans Wifi and Bluetooth. Can anyone suggest a card for this laptop as according to Dell website it only supports two models both of them will be incompatible with mojave. Kindly point me to some good cards for this laptop that are under $40.
  15. Hi Guys. I got hands on a Latitude E5540 and i want to run Mojave on it. Unfortunately i got a reboot after that line of "+"... So i guess this must be some error related to "Memory Fix" ... but none of the three drivers provided by Clover do work...:( With "OsxAptioFix3Drv" the system stucks at the "+" line, with the other two drivers the system is rebooting instantly. All BIOS settings are configured as always suggested in this forum. Trying to boot with only 1 of the 2 Memory bars also does not work/does not make any difference. I'm starting with plain Clover 2.5 rev5033 and a non customized "config.plist" (Clover in full automatic mode). I do use "VirtualSMC". Any clues? System information: Latitude E5540 BIOS Rev A23 1366x768 Display Resolution 8GB of SK Hynix DDR3L 12800S Memory (2x 4GB) Intel Core i5-4310U CPU Clover information: Kexts used: AppleALC.kext AppleBacklightFixup.kext FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext Lilu.kext SMCBatteryManager.kext SMCLightSensor.kext SMCProcessor.kext SMCSuperIO.kext VirtualSMC.kext VoodooPS2ControllerR6.kext WhateverGreen.kext Drivers used: ApfsDriverLoader.efi AudioDxe.efi DataHubDxe.efi FSInject.efi OsxAptioFixDrv.efi PartitionDxe.efi VBoxHfs.efi VirtualSmc.efi All KEXTs and Drivers have the latest version.
  16. Greetings. Installed 10.14 Mojave on E5420, but can't get audio to work. On High Sierra used AppleAlc + Lilu and everything was fine. Tried to change layout id, changed HDAS to HDEF in ACPI section. Still no luck. I'm not sure what my codec is (only "Intel High Def Audio under Windows description), but I think that it may be around: IDT 92HDxxx HD Audio; IDT 92HD93 HD Audio. Any solution?
  17. I have E6540 working almost perfectly fine with Mojave 10.14.5 except for couple of things:- 1- HDMI audio not syncing properly with TV ! I never had that issue. 2- Webcam is not working and I need it for meetings and stuff. I have attached my fully working EFI.zip also the clover origin dump files E6540_origin.zip and the Darwin Dump files hoping someone could assist DarwinDumper.zip I am also wondering is it possible now to get the E6540 to work with the AMD Radeon HD 8790M instead of the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 but also get the HDMI working the with TV? I'd appreciate any assistance please @Jake Lo Thank you
  18. Hey all, recently been trying to get Mojave up and running on my e6230 following this guide, using this bootpack and using this DSDT file (which fixed my sleep on lid close problems). I'm happy that most everything is working so far (besides the battery indicator seeming inaccurate although I haven't had time to fully test it yet), except for one problem -- I can't change the screen brightness at all, with the option missing altogether from System Preferences > Displays. I've attached my debug report to this post, hopefully it'll help you guys out. Thanks a bunch in advance. debug_24781.zip
  19. I have been trying to make my e5410 to boot to Mojave installation but getting stuck at "Still waiting for root device" with that prohibition sign. I am booting in Legacy mode as my laptop belongs in 5 series motherboards. I also get that message in verbose about "waiting ..... a lot of text...... uuid-boot-media". I can't patch my DSDT and dont know what to do with SSDT options in clover configurator. Fastboot is set to Minimal (no option to disable and this is the lowest), legacy mode on and UEFI off, BIOS is latest A16. SMBIOS is set to 6,1 MacBook Pro with -no_compat_check boot arg. I am attaching my EFI folder, verbose screens (just before that prohibition symbol) and origin.zip containing my clover extracted SSDTs and DSDT files. If anyone can patch them for me I would more than love to buy them a beer! I don't understand ACPI language and mine is missing object decalarations and nasty unexpected '}'s errors that won't go. I AM REALLY DESPERATE PLEASE HELP! EFI.zip origin.zip

  21. hello guys , this is the first post in this site i'm running windows 7 right now and i want to install mac os mojave on my dell latitude e5550 , but i don't have access to a mac computer. can anyone tell me about a method to install the os ? or maybe follow the steps of another dell laptop ? (sorry but i have a very limited knowledge about hackintosh .)
  22. Upgraded to 10.14 public beta, so far I have these issues no sound (ALC255) memory is reporting correct amount but about this Mac does not show the memory slots populated, it shows empty. if you have a similar system, before you upgrade do the following back up your EFi and OS. update clover to the latest when installing clover, there is a new option to install apfsdriverloader.efi, without this, once the installation is done, you will not see your OSX drive. if you don't want to load that driver, then you will need the latest APFS.EFI either driver needs to be installed in the Drivers64UEFI folder.
  23. Hello everybody, I'm trying to put the finishing touches on my Mojave install and have hit some snags. I'd like to preface this by saying that, while I'm pretty good with computers, I am an absolute noob at hackintoshing. I got Mojave up and running using clover with everything working but sleep, the dedicated k5000m GPU (shows up in system report and OpenGL Extensions Viewer but nothing seems to be able to use it), and brightness only sorta works. Sleep is the biggy. When I put the laptop to sleep (via any method eg. Apple > Sleep, power button, or lid close) It seems to go to sleep (power light slowly pulses and everything), but it takes a solid 30-45 seconds to get there. When I try waking it the fans will kick on for about a half second then it drops back to sleep mode. When I try again the fans do the same thing and then a few seconds later the computer reboots with Optimus disabled. It really baffles me as to why Optimus turns off every time I try to wake it. So far I've tried disabled Hibernation by following Hervé's guide here on OSXLatitude and gone through every Darkwake option. Neither changed the sleep behavior in any way. The Quadra k5000m seems to be detected fine in system report and OpenGL Extensions Viewer, but nothing seems to be able to use it. Is this because MacOS can't use the dGPU when the laptop implements Optimus? I've read mixed reports on that. I've tried just turning off Optimus in the Bios, but that causes MacOS to crash at boot. If possible I'd really like to have the Quadra working rather than the iGPU because my main use for MacOS is FCPX. Brightness works, but there's no on-screen indicator when changing it and if the screen turns off, it comes back on at full brightness. There's also no brightness slider in Settings > Display. I've attached my EFI folder and a debug report I generated with black.dragon74's script. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! debug_14893.zip EFI.zip
