I faced similar problem and identified issue is related to wifi. During Installation and later on every start keyboard and mouse works after approx 7-10 minutes. After removing all wifi related kext things were normal ( except wifi not working which has been the case since my first attempt of installation and still no success. Immediately after Installation removed the AppleIntel HD and FB.. kext as mentioned some where in one of the post
