Can someone help me fix the Audio (bad sound). The fix in this post has not changed anything at all for me. https://osxlatitude.com/forums/topic/18136-solved-dell-latitude-7300-bluetooth-dw1830-and-audio-jack-problems/ Intel i7-8665U Realtek ALC3254 audio Intel Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz 13.3" FHD 1920x1080 LCD Intel Cannon Point-LP PCH - USB 3.1 xHCI Host Controller Intel Cannon Point-LP, Intel Whiskey Lake-U chipset I have installed ALCPlugFix-Swift and added the edited sample.plist. Then I added "alcverbs=1 alcid=77" to the boot args. and rebooted the device. Do I have to delete/edit my audio device in the "Device Properties" under "Devices" to get this work? Here is my EFI: https://mega.nz/file/OQIXBJib#aBZ-m8NzIPAEOjHF5g3QRzad9SzBQJkj0FM21iumteg (I have removed the boot args again after I noticed that it has no effect.)

Thank you for the explanation. But I already knew that. I mean this setting here. I found a few different ones on the internet that you can use but I'm not sure what difference it makes if I use 3 or 4. pmset -g System-wide power settings: Currently in use: standbydelaylow 10800 standby 1 halfdim 1 hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage proximitywake 0 powernap 1 gpuswitch 2 disksleep 10 standbydelayhigh 86400 sleep 1 (sleep prevented by runningboardd, runningboardd, runningboardd, runningboardd, runningboardd) autopoweroffdelay 259200 hibernatemode 3 autopoweroff 1 ttyskeepawake 1 displaysleep 2 tcpkeepalive 1 highstandbythreshold 50 lidwake 1 -

Everything works including sleep and hibernation. But which hibernation mode is recommended and what are the differences between them? -

Dell Latitude 7300: hibernation/sleep not working
Cropester replied to Cropester's topic in 7000 Series
After some googling and testing I got it fixed by disabling the SSDT-TB3_RP05.aml. Thanks for the quick help, I will check tomorrow if all functions of the USB-C port still work. -

Thank you for the quick feedback. I have disabled the IOElectrify.kext and reseted the NVram. But it still runs into a kernel panic. "thunderbolt power on failed 0xffffffff\n". I have uploaded the KP as well. Thanks already. KP.zip -
Dell Latitude 7300: hibernation/sleep not working

I have remapped the USB ports and cleaned up my EFI. I also disabled SSDT-AC and re-enabled sleep in the BIOS. Unfortunately I still run into a kernel panic. Here is my EFI: https://mega.nz/file/CI5RGTZD#oCdSkJXPxHjD-bY30H7Kw3TPvvNA_LUBZWmua47QizM Thank you for the detailed answer. Do you have any other idea how I can get this fixed? -
Dell Latitude 7300: hibernation/sleep not working

I was equally surprised that it works with the SSD. I don't need the hibernation/sleep feature. I just didn't want the laptop to panic every time I closed it. I have enabled "Block Sleep" in the BIOS under Power Management. That is enough for me so far. Now it goes into lockscreen when I close the lid. Thanks anyway for the quick reply. -
