  1. I chose: Model selected: D820-nvidia Mouse/Keyboard driver: 1 Battery driver: AppleACPIBatteryManager.kext Install NullCPUPowerManagement: n Install SleepEnabler: Emulated speedstep: y Also added the Trackpad PrefPane 32-bit It appears that everything works coming back from sleep except for tap=click on the trackpad. The physical buttons do work after sleep, so it's mostly an inconvenience borne out of usage habits. Has anyone else experienced that anomaly or found a way around it? Henry
  2. Well, I had a go at the WIKI method and this time it worked! Instead of a cheapo 8gb usb stick I used a cruzer 16gb stick. Loaded OSX from stick, downloaded 10.6.7 combo update from Apple site, applied updates - before rebooting installed Chameleon and EDP 1.8. System for D620 Intel; machine rebooted as it should, with full QE and VLC - mkv files play smoothly once again. System Profiler now correctly identifies the Graphics/Display as GMA 950! One step I also took was to erase with writing zeroes to each drive. Life is good!
  3. I did that, but here's what I get: nVidia Graphics Card: Chipset Model: nVidia Graphics Card Type: GPU Bus: Built-In VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: Intel (0x8086) Device ID: 0x27a2 Revision ID: 0x0003 ROM Revision: Silent Natit x86_64 v1.0.2 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Built-In: Yes Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected What do you think, run EDP 1.8 again? Henry
  4. Yes, it says GMA945 so I installed Intel. Not sure what has gone wrong...
  5. I too am experiencing issues with QE and my D620 / Core 2 Duo 2Ghz / Dell A10 Bios / Chameleon 2 RC5 from the newest Extra.ZIP / 3gb DDR RAM / SL 10ud.;6.7).Although I'm certain it's GMA 950 based onboard video, system profiler says it's an nVidia graphics card. Sorta odd... Animation is occasionally choppy, VLC is black screen video with audio, and MKV files are unwatchable full screen. My previous installation was Leppy's w SL 10.6.2, and none of the aforementioned issues existed. Perhaps I should use the old video kexts, or would there be version mismatches?
