I was well aware the wifi wouldn't work, I didn't mean to make it look like I was looking to be spoon fed haha. But yes researching and trying things is definitely worthwhile. My Bluetooth is picked up- but still a little glitchy, but I'll see if I can figure that out. Regarding Intel wifi, there are some options, albeit with limited success. I know when I had an older latitude D620 with a intel wifi 3945 card and I was able to make it work using: https://code.google.com/p/iwidarwin/ and http://projectcamphor.mercurysquad.com/downloads. Hi Hervé, I was reading about the WWan for my latitude, and saw your posting here: http://www.osxlatitude.com/wwan-modules-a-quick-guide/ I was wondering if I stuck a Dell 1390 card (which I believe is natively supported) into the WWan port of my e6400 if I could essentially have two wireless cards - my intel wifi 5300 which works well in Windows and then the second 1390 for Mavericks. Oddly enough - re installing the Window's driver fixed the issue. The WiDCOMM driver needed to be upgraded apparently. That re-enabled everything. Thanks though!

So with this Guide I got everything except the wifi (wifilink 5300) and Bluetooth working. as I mentioned above, here are my BIOS settings. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. You nailed it... tweaked some bios settings ( not the ahci - that was correct) and now its in the installer... I'll post all the Bios settings I am using after install completes. Thanks so much!

I tried rebuilding the Myhack installer disc, but still no go at all. Instant reboot. I've gone as far as removing a stick of ram. I'm unable to even get an error screen. I tried swapping the FakeSMC file, tried with -v -x -f -s and still nadda. Any suggestions on how to even view the error screen?

The laptop reboots almost instantly when I do not use flags like -v I tried the GeneratePStates=No, GenerateCStates=No and both together yet same result. Reboot. I triple checked, I'm definitely using the right Chameleon version, and when I use -v it does pass the efinvram... but it doesn't KP and give me a log on screen like the article here: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2869-kp-on-appleefinvram-with-myhack-32-beta8/ Hmm thanks for the suggestions guys, any other ideas?

I'll take a look tonight. Typically it just reboots (even with -v) on. Also do you think it would make any difference using a Drive Bay instead of primary hdd slot? I've tried both un-successfully, but wondering if there is a better version. I'll check for the efi nvram issue tonight - I would have thought using the latest chameleon would resolve that kind of issue. Thanks for your response!

Thanks, I'll try that! Edit: Sadly no luck - I tried even deleting the FakeSMC and still no luck. Any other suggestions? I have the same problem when I tried using the installer I used to build my Mavericks XPS build- which isn't using your extra's folder at all... I originally had Snow Leopard installed on the machine, so I am assuming my machine's bios settings are correct. Any other pointers? Much obliged, Cheers, Bren

I can't seem to get the system to boot. I'm using a GUID partitioned hard disk. I made two partitions, Mavericks and MavericksInstaller, I made the Installer partition contain all of the proper installer files (built with myHack, and then added the Extras folder. I tried with the MBR patch but still no luck... I installed everything on my XPS a-ok but the Latitude e6400 simply restarts despite any of the boot flags GraphicsEnabler=0, -F -x -s -v. I also installed the latest chameleon using chameleon Wizard.. Any suggestions would be helpful.
