ALC 270, version 2.1 works well, I am using it without problems, will install 2.2 and post system.log later.

V2.2 on El Capitan broke audio for me. If I install the kext then no audio, when I uninstall it it works. I tried all the fix types, not helping. What could cause this issue?

What boot loader are you using? I use Clover and for Mavericks the patch works okey and on Yosemite I don't even need a patch.

I found some, maybe useful or not, information, EMlyDinEsH. When I let Yosemite upload the firmware it works okey but when I use El Cap firmware gets uploaded (I changed to IOUSBHostDevice in info.plist) but bluetooth is not working properly. It gets recognised but the icon is flashing in every 5 sec and you can't use bluetooth at all. What I found is that if I don't have a kext installed in El Cap and boot into Yosemite, the firmware gets uploaded and works fine and then I restart into El Cap bluetooth is working properly in El Capitan too. Just something I found out today by messing around.

Officially it works better than the windows driver. Good job.

I can confirm the system freeze bug on both Mavericks and Yosemite Beta. My touchpad is version 4. I have another small bug, not that annoying only when using Photoshop. Maybe this can be set in the config plist, but I am asking you for help. I have a little bit larger fingers than most of the people so sometimes when I move my cursor to an exact location and I tap there instantly my cursor sometimes jumps into a random direction or just jumps when I move it around. Still one of the best kext around. Good job mate. Edit: I installed the 3.8.5 kext and disabled in the plist file v4HW2FingersMove, not freezing, now my computer restarts sometimes when I double tap.

I can boot without any boot flag, on Mavericks, Mountain Lion used to work also very smoothly. I had problems with Mavericks on the second install, but managed to get it work in two days even a lot better then for the first time. If you boot with -v, then it will get stuck somewhere. If you can tell me where it stuck, maybe I can help you. Greeting, Alpár.
