Hi naneoc, I own this kind of notebook but the Intel VGA version (not Ati like your). Anyway, have you tried to follow my guide for Snow Leopard 10.6.7 or the new one for LION 10.7.3? I know that they are for Intel version, but I know that some people have installed with success on ati hardware too using my step. regards my 2 cents Bautzen
