    I tried this EDP1.5RC6 on my D530,SL10.6.6,BIOS newest A10.(but my D530 is 1024x768(XGA) BTO model.) Lastly,my D530 has booted without -x(safe boot)! BUT, my 1024x768 displey has been black out as I had feared. I edited com.apple.boot.plist to 1024x768x32,but still black out. Does DSDT.aml need to edit to boot my XGA D530? Thanks Elites ,Thanks everyone to read my poor English.(I'm Japanese.)
