Well, After repair a problem with Lion 10.7.3 version and working, I decided to donwload and upgrading to the latest version 10.4.7 and after installation, now not boot!! Is it not compatible 10.7.4 with D630? Should have tried another method before then updated directly? I'ved attached a image of the panic kernel error: Many thanks in advance!

I tried to move the files but I have 2 problems: - The files are in read only system file mode and I can't move them. Neither I can modify attributes. - The patch /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/ not exists. Only I find /Library/LaunchDaemons/

ok, But can I move the files from the trash folder to original destination using terminal went I boot in single mode? exist some command for this? I can't create a usb lion installer because I can't start the osx. I can do nothing...

Hi guys, I deleted some .plist files from /system/library/launchdaemon and other folder (I don't remember the name) accidentally AND NOW MY D630 NOT STARTS! These files are in the recycle folder. I'm sure. How I could boot my laptop?? My question is, How I can restore these files to the original folders from the console in the boot? It's posible? Many thanks in advance!

Hi, I've already installed Lion succesfully in my D630, but I have only 4GB RAM (2x2GB). What it the maximum RAM supported for the D630? 8GB (2x 4GB)? I have A17 BIOS version. Also, I want to upgrade the hard drive and I'm thinking in a SSD hard drive. Did any particular model that works perfect in our D630? I do not need much capacity, but performance. Ok, I replaced the DSDT file and apparently working well, but I have some questions: - I can't plays DVD video and can not see Youtube videos with HD resolution. What it's wrong? - The mouse something is blinking when plays videos, music.. it's like a slow perfomance of the system. Any idea? - The CPU fan is noisy beacuse is accelerated. Can I use another kext for the energy consumption? - The blue led of the wifi icon not flashing. But I have the wifi card working and connected to internet. Is it posible to enable? Hi Mariusz, I've installed Lion 10.7.0 on my D630 X3100 graphics with 1440x900 res, I'm trying to follow your solution, beacuse I didn't have good graphics acceleration, but after the boot I have a black screen and only works the video with the external VGA out. Have I done something wrong? Thank you for your help in advance!

Hello, I have a D630 with Lion installed perfectly with 1440x900 resolution but, when moving images or videos, the picture is not smooth or soft. Is this normal or do I need a patch for some graphics accelerator for X3100? It's like if the screen refresh was slow. I hope I explained well... Thank you very much!

In your case, I don't think that you have a version BIOS problem. Try the myhack method again. I have A17 BIOS installed. The system apparently works fine, only I need to set the internal keyboard, mouse and sound buttons and finally set the screen to 1440x900 res. I was trying to set DSDT files, to use Chamemelon wizard but I have not experience about this and not working the changes or have many kernel panic and I have to reinstall again... I would like to know how I can fix it step by step this problems..

Hi all, I'm trying to install Lion 10.7.0 with the myHack method and simonoff's extra folder but I have some problems... My system is a D630 with : - Intel Core2 Duo T7500 2,20GHz processor - Intel GMA965/X3100 graphics. After first boot, I tried to restore the simonoff's extra folder with myhack whithout results...for this reason, I've install EDP 2.2 package but now... - I have only 1024x768 resolution - Internal keyboard, sound buttons and mouse not working (I'm using externals keyboard and mouse). ¿Have I selected the wrong options in the EDP 2.2? what are the correct settings for my model in the wizard? WIFI, bluetooth, battery icon and sound works... How I can install GMAX3100 with 1440x900 high resolution and set internals mouse and keyboard and sounds buttons? Thank you very much!

Ok, I have the original DVD OSX Mac OS Snow Leopard 10.6.0 too. Searching with the wiki, is better for D630 with 1440x900 resolution SL or Lion? I have both original DVD's...

I tried the file dsdt file but have PK... I'ved to reintall all again I'm using iFail S3 v2 and works fine all device. Only need 1440x900 resolution. If I try to modify the org.chameleon.plist from /extra folder or put a DSDT file, replaced the kext in the extension folder, etc... I have KP.... This is the 6 time that its reinstalling all again.... this is imposible!

Thanks Bronxteck but not works... I tried with Chameleon Wizard and works all options except the display resolution. For example, If modify another option, after reboot, is modificated and working, but only the display option not working... I tried with Champlist, but not working too.... Any idea?
