Update: I am aware that OC does not support SMBIOS MacBookPro10,x and older.

Greetings.. System seems to be working quite well with the exception of USB. The 2 ports on the left and right side seem to work sometimes upon boot, other times not. The back port works consistently. Using MBP9,2/10,2 renders ""This version of Mac OS X is not supported on this platform". Thanks very much!

Greetings.. excuse my delay. Many thanks Jake Lo and Herve, you guys are awesome!  Getting further with my E5430 (Lo Res).  2 issues presently, upon log in, system will go to sleep--->Upon pressing power, i'm in and good. Lan stays at "self assigned ip and won't connect to the internet via ethernet. I'm using a 7260 card and can connect to the internet with AirportItlwm_v1.0_Beta_BigSur.. Many thanks!

Thanks very much Jake! Yes, I did that and it seems to get me installed. System seems to run quite smoothly with Big Sur using Sam Gangee's EFI. I'm not seeing trackpad or screen brightness however. Any thoughts? Thanks, and hope you are well. I haven't been around for quite some time. 

Greetings.. I have the same machine as Sam Gamgee here but not hi-res. It's booting to a distorted display and I'm new to OC configuration. Where would I make that adjustment? Thanks very much in advance! 

Greetings... System is running ok with Catalina 10.15.5 with the exception of the odd annoying graphics related issues, notably, when launching iTunes, my cloud library freezes the system, graphics artifacts, flashing, etc forces me to shut the system down. This behaviour also happens randomly when I access various webpages, unpredictably. Any explanation, or assistance with this annoyance would be most appreciated. Thank you.

System is not performing optimally, although it boots most of the time. 

1-keyboard is not functional at Clover Boot Menu (rectified by an external USB keyboard, why?)

2-System boots successfully approx every 2 times

3-Random freezes, forcing reboot

4-Random graphic glitches, artifacts

5-Trackpad not functional upon wake from sleep

Any assistance in getting this pup going with H. Sierra would be appreciated.  (debug below) Thanks!

Works, but still only getting Headphone Out port. I seem to have lost Lan/Network now. Good news is it seems to boot quicker and no graphic glitch before display. Thank you. 

No change, sadly. Those 2 x SSDT's were in the Bootpack for (El Capitan) 5450.

Greetings, I haven't been able to achieve successful audio using the ALC293 kext. I am currently getting an active Headphone port out  but not on every boot.  I have tried enabling and disabling the 4 AppleHDA 293 entries in Kexts to Patch as well as setting Audio to 11 in devices, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.  Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks. 

Jake, you were right on the money on this one again.. I adjusted the DVMT at bios level, and also installed Lilu and WhateverGreen. My only "beef" if you could call it that, is the 2 second graphic glitch before display. Thanks very much!

Greetings.. Picked up an E5450 (i7-5600U/HD5500<366x768>) for the purpose of using as a mobile audio multitrack workstation, only to find out that ProTools 11 is only supported to the end of Yosemite. I've searched the forum base as well as the bootPacks, and it seems like things only get started with this series at El Capitan. I tried booting, but KP'd rendering the image shown in the attached picture. 

 Am I barking up an impossible tree? Thank you.

Patched my DSDT, now I have Lan connection but no USB. Ouch!

Thanks Herve, yes I have studied that post, tried the BCM5761 kext from the D630-10.12 pack which solved the members' issue, but does not solve mine. I do not have "Legacy Option Roms" option in my bios.

Greetings.. Using Generic EFI and https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=8770 , System is running well with the exception of LAN/Ethernet. The "Not Connected" message is always present in System Preferences/Network. I've tried the D630's (Sierra) BCM5722D.kext to no avail. I have generated a patched ssdt for my system. Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you!

Thanks so much, Jake.. I've attempted to do that, however the screen shuts off, and the debug is interrupted during the process. Incidentally, every time I key click to get a display, it forces me to log in.. If I don't press a key, the laptop goes into sleep mode.

Greetings.. Installation of 10.13.6 High Sierra is successful using Jake's Efi https://osxlatitude.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=18876, however 1 issue currently exists... every 30 seconds display goes to a black screen and system sleeps. I can wake it up with a key strike, but only lasts for 30sec before problem repeats. I have generated a patched SSDT for my cpu, and am using the DSDT in the EFI file. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thank you! 

Thanks again. I've re-installed High Sierra and still no change. The card is recognized in DPCI, but not showing up in OSX at all. These are my kexts currently in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. 

Update: I reversed the leads on the wifi card, and it's working now with these kexts.  I'd be glad to post my EFI, however I seem to be limited to under 2megs for upload. Thanks Jake !

Thanks Jake, still no positive results. Incidentally, the intel wifi card that I replaced had 3 leads connected to it 1-3. I'm presently connecting 1+2 to the Broadcom card.
