  1. I installed your kext but still no sound from internal speakers after sleep. Headphones are working as usual... I tested in Windows because this issue seemed to be hardware related but under Windows sound is working even after waking up from sleep. After updating to 10.9.1, I even tried to patch the new version of AppleHDA.kext (with bcc9's script) replacing layout28.xml.zlib, Platforms.xml.zlib and Contents/PlugIns/AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver.kext/Contents/Info.plist files with the ones from above AppleHDA.kext patched by you. Still no luck... P.S. Tried both with and without using EAPDFix.kext
  2. I meant that if I don't touch any keys at boot, I don't get any sound from my system. It just normally boots into Mavericks without producing any sound during boot. But if I press F12 at boot, to enter the BIOS menu, the key press is followed by short beep and after that BIOS pops up. Find attached my patched AppleHDA.kext (Layout ID = 28) along with linux codec dump for ALC269 VC. I'm using HDEF DSDT patch in order to inject the proper layout ID. Thanks for your help once again! 3. Yes, I get the volume control bezel displayed every time after sleep (I think that it is toggled by "Audio Sense"=true key in Info.plist) but still no sound through internal speakers. Only headphones are working properly.
  4. Hello EMlyDinEsH, I'm getting sound from internal speakers at boot only when i press F12 to launch quick boot menu or when trying to access BIOS. Find attached below my system log after boot. Thanks for your help in advance! I really can't figure this out... P.S. Actually logging after sleep starts after the following lines: 12/13/13 2:19:34.000 PM kernel[0]: sleep 12/13/13 2:19:34.000 PM kernel[0]: Wake reason: SLPB LID syslog_after_sleep.txt
  5. I also tried to patch the stock 10.9 AppleHDA.kext using bcc9's script. The only difference is that i replaced both xml.zlib files and Info.plist from AppleHDAHardwareConfigDriver after patching the kext. Still no sound after sleep... It will be nice if I can test with your version of AppleHDA.kext. Please, upload it. Is your IOAudioFamily.kext native or a modified one? I'm using chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) in order to boot in Mavericks but I don't think that this is the cause... Also I don't have installed this Elantec driver. As far as I can understand it is something related with touchpad, but is it required for EAPDFix in order to function? Thanks again!
  6. Can anybody provide me working AppleHDA.kext for ALC269 VC (Lenovo ThinkPad T530) on Mavericks 10.9, please? So far, I have tested all available fixes for the "no sound after sleep" issue, including: - patched IOAudioFamily.kext (even re-built by me via Xcode under Mavericks 10.9 SDK); - CodecCommander.kext with native IOAudioFamily.kext; - EAPDFix.kext with native IOAudioFamily.kext. Nothing works for me... Still no audio from internal speakers after sleep, only headphones function properly. I started thinking that the reason is something wrong with AppleHDA.kext, taken from http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3619-alc269-vc2-hd/ My specifications: Speakers node: 0x14 Headphones node: 0x15 Codec address: 0 HDEF IOReg path: "IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/PCI0/AppleACPIPCI/HDEF@1B" Find below attached my Linux codec-dump. Thanks in advance! ALC269VC_codec_dump.txt
  7. Still can't fix audio through internal speakers after sleep. Audio via headphones is working fine. My hackintosh build is Mavericks 10.9 on ThinkPad T530. Here is what I manually patched in EAPDFix.kext > Info.plist: <dict> <key>EAPDFix</key> <dict> <key>Audio Sense</key> <true/> <key>AudioNodes</key> <dict> <key>Headphones</key> <integer>21</integer> <key>Speaker</key> <integer>20</integer> </dict> <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key> <string>com.apple.EAPDFix</string> <key>Codec Address</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>IOClass</key> <string>EAPDFix</string> <key>IOProbeScore</key> <integer>10</integer> <key>IOProviderClass</key> <string>IOResources</string> <key>IOResourceMatch</key> <string>IOKit</string> </dict> And here is the output from its activity (looks like it's functioning properly): 11/22/13 4:32:11.731 PM com.apple.kextd[12]: WARNING - Invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext "/System/Library/Extensions/EAPDFix.kext" 11/22/13 4:32:22.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPDFix v1.0 for Audio codecs with EAPD in output nodes by EMlyDinEsH(OSXLatitude) (c) 2013 11/22/13 4:32:22.062 PM com.apple.kextd[12]: WARNING - Invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext "/System/Library/Extensions/EAPDFix.kext" 11/22/13 4:32:22.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Sending Command 0x1470c02 to Speaker Node#20 11/22/13 4:32:22.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Sending Command 0x1570c02 to Headphone Node#21 11/22/13 4:32:22.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Command(s) Sent Successfully 11/22/13 4:34:54.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Sending Command 0x1470c02 to Speaker Node#20 11/22/13 4:34:54.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Sending Command 0x1570c02 to Headphone Node#21 11/22/13 4:34:54.000 PM kernel[0]: EAPD: Command(s) Sent Successfully 11/22/13 4:36:11.000 PM kernel[0]: considerRebuildOfPrelinkedKernel com.apple.EAPDFix triggered rebuild 11/22/13 4:45:06.225 PM com.apple.kextcache[330]: WARNING - Invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext "/System/Library/Extensions/EAPDFix.kext" I'm using 10.9 native IOAudioFamily.kext and the following patched version of AppleHDA.kext: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3619-alc269-vc2-hd/ Find below attached my Linux codec-dump.
