  1. Hi Emily, your kext works fine with my HP Broadcom 20702A3, thank you, but are there any improvements using this instead of stock kexts?

    Also, the bluetooth does not work after sleep. Here is booot log at startup:

    7/10/14 11:08:37.000 AM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Broadcom Bluetooth hardware found
    7/10/14 11:08:37.000 AM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Using Standalone Firmware
    7/10/14 11:08:38.000 AM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Started the upload of firmware (v14 c5563, 69852 bytes)...
    7/10/14 11:08:44.000 AM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Successfully patched the firmware.

    Here is bootlog at wake:

    7/10/14 12:45:40.000 PM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Broadcom Bluetooth hardware found
    7/10/14 12:45:40.000 PM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Using Standalone Firmware

    7/10/14 12:45:41.000 PM kernel[0]: BTFirmwareUploader :: Firmware patch failed.

    I have to press the network button twice to get it working again:

  2. So, I have an E7440 with the 1366x768 display and a swapped out WiFi card (the BCM4352 Azurewave AW0CE123H). I have the 2.4 GHz portion working, but no BT and 5 GHz. I'm not too worried about that at the moment.

    Something that I haven't figured out is why audio is not working. I see references to it in System Preferences, but nothing under Sound.

    I've followed all steps and I've tried a few reinstalls, in the correct order, but no luck. I can supply various files. Just let me know.

    I also triple-boot via EFI to Ubuntu 14.04 and Windows 7.

    Give me your dsdt.aml

    And check if you have AppleHDAALC in S/L/E

  3. Even multitouch works perfecty, thanks. I installed Mavericks following the guide end everything works smoothly.

    You says that HDMI output doesn't works: is this final or maybe it can be fixed sooner or later? I'm about to try this: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2945-guide-for-enabling-vga-and-hdmi-in-intel-hd4000-gpu/

    You're using HD4400, not HD4000.

    HDMI can be fixed if you're using 10.9.1->10.9.3, by open HVT and select

    - Kexts > Graphics > HD4400/4600 DP/HDMI Freeze (Only on Mavericks)

    This method does not work with 10.9.4 however.

  4. Thanks Pokenguyen, i tried BIOS version in the SMBIOS as well using clover Configurator, but still the SMC version is 2.13f7

    The SMC key is injected by Clover, we have to wait until Clover update the SMC key. For now, right click to update and select Hide Update.

  5. I confirm 1.7.3 works correctly. I've installed OSX following the guide and it works (FHD model). Now I'm trying to get mutitouch gestures to work. I can hear a sound when I swipe with 3 fingers but the gesture doesn't seem to trigger correct actions (like switching from a full screen application).

    Go to sys pref > Keyboard > shortcut, then swipe to assign

  6.

    Have just done a re-install to try and figure out where the Apple PS2 drivers came from.

    On the EFI partitiion on the hard drive, /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.9 and 10.10 did not exist immediately post install.

    Once I did the Clover install from HVT, with no options checked, then both directories existed, and the 10.9 directory contained:

    AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext
    ApplePS2Controller.kext
    and FakeSMC.kext.

    So, it's definitely the clover installer that's putting these in place. I just didn't notice the first time I did the install, as I just dragged and dropped the other drivers in there.

    I will fix it, thank you! For now, just remove those kexts before copying.

  7. GREAT news! Thank you! I hope the fix for hdmi and glitches will be also avable soon, maybe with a proper patch  to kext. If u have something to try just ask and i will try to help the development! Thank you again

    HDMI and glitches are fixed in Mavericks by using a working 10.9.1 kext. You should keep track of each DP and 10.10.x, and keep the working Azul kext once it works.
