I have followed the guide to the letter and it worked perfectly. It's an amazing guide. One exception was I had to use EC 10.11.3 instead of EC 10.11.2 and downloaded the Vanilla_kernel.10.11.3.zip from the link. Bravo to Hervé

Just Installed 10.9 from 10.8.5 from scratch(follow the doc) on two D630 and updated to 10.9.2 with no problem. Latitude D630, BIOS A18, C2D T8300 2.4GHz, 4Go DDR2-800, nVidia Quadro NVS 135M, 1440x900, ML 10.8.5/Mav 10.9.2 Latitude D630, BIOS A18, C2D T9300 2.5GHz, 8Go DDR2-800, nVidia Quadro NVS 135M, 1440x900, ML 10.8.5/Mav 10.9.2 (testbed)
