  1. Without Flags you have FakeSmc issue. I don't boot with -x it's not necessary and I don't copy kernel, Kernel is unpacking itself with this installer. You have Yosemite ready to boot with it :) And you only need copy your Extra to root of your USB. So try again maybe something goes wrong at the first time ;) In Chameleonboot.plist you can change your resolution to 1920x1200 for your display. And booting OSX installer hangs at some points but In a while it goes ahead :)

Try again with the Extra that I've uploaded for you in previous post :)

  2. Yes but it's similar laptop and some kext will work. And someone post there kext for E6410 f.e touchpad. It's clear that FakeSMC.kext, Smibios.plist and dsdt.aml you will need for your laptop specs. But Steps are the same :)

  3. I did in Yosemite Topic ;) but kexts aren't optimized yet for 10.10. For E6410 you will also need DisableTurboBoostBattery.kext because I have Core 2 Duo and Herve note that it's only for 'I' Processors ;) And Jake Lo post Sound and trackpad/trackstick kexts for your model also in Yosemite topic :)

So at first read topics then start new one ;)

    Cheers! :)

  4. I don't use any other kexts ;) I'm using this kexts with Mavericks and with Yosemite too. FakeSmc.kext Hervé help me modify for my laptop and you can find it in Yosemite topic :) But in Yosemite works only trackpoint with some kext that I've borrow from other laptop from E6XXX series ;) I didn't found ps2 kext that will work with our tuchpad ;) Yosemite need to work to get performance in our laptop ;) .I boot Yosemite with Chameleon and now I'm running with Mavericks and Chameleon 2.2 r2391 because I can edit smbios.plist and Processor is recognized properly ;) In Chameleon from myhack when I edit smibios.plist it recognized only at 2,54Ghz. Clover fully recognized My parameters but GUI slow down. So I'm using new chameleon but it will boot only when I add flags -f -v :C that's only problem. And I feel the diferences in performance. :)

  5. Fakesmc is imported from Mavericks topic and GUI was working fine with Chameleon and this FakeSmc.kext I don't think that is FakeSmc kext, rather something with config.plist  :| Anyone have config.plist with similar parameters ? And Smbios.plist don't help.

    My Specs:

    Core 2 Duo T9600 2,80Ghz 6mb cache

    4GB RAM 800 MHZ

    Nvidia NVS 160M 1440x900 display

I am using Clover configuration for edit config.plist  :|

  6. Hello ! :)

I've installed Mavericks on my Latitude E6400 with NVS 160m

At first I have Chameleon bootloader installed with myhack but when I look in "about this mac" My CPU was reported as 1.6 GHZ but I have T9600 2,8Ghz Cpu, also Ram was reported as 766MHZ but I have 800 Mhz . So someone in this forum sugested that Clover will fix this problem because its Newer. So I've decide to install it on my Mavericks 10.9.4 Disk. I've install Clover Efi v2 2774 with this options :

Bootloader - install boot0af in MBR sector

    CloverEfi - CloverEfi64 bits Sata

    Drivers64UEFI- EmuVariableUEFI-64, OSXAptioFixDrv-64

Install Script RC in source disk

    Install Clover preference panel

Of Course I've copy Kexts from /E/E chameleon to /Efi/Clover/kexts/10.9 and DSDT.aml from /E to /Efi/Clover/ACPI/PATCHED

Everything works but I know that I don't have plist optimized for my laptop  :x  and GUI is laggy  :|  I have NVS replaced in /S/L/E because I replaced it a long time ago and with Chameleon everything works great :) But now my CPU is reported as 2,79GHZ and RAM 800MHZ. Any idea what to do to Speed Gui ?  :-P  And yes I;ve deleted old chameleon /E files :)

  7. Every files need to install and boot OSX I've just post :) You will find everything in my E6400 Yosemite topic. I will help you but i don't have Yosemite beta anymore :C Now I have old good Mountain Lion :) And graphics is super smooth ;) In Yosemite Gui is slow on our Nvs 160, in Mavericks you can also feel that :C so I've just decided to wait for someone who will do great job and prepare drivers for our laptop :)

1.Create bootable USB but make sure that is formated to os x journaledand set GUID :)Boot USB OS X Yosemite (Chameleon).zip use this simple installer :)

2.Extract and copy to root of your usb this Extra.zip

3.When you will boot you can use command -v -f

    Did you do that ?

  8. Ok.

    1. I've change Smbios.plist MacBookPro5,3,
    2. I've edit Smbios file to MacBookPro5,3!.
    3. I've add GraphicsEnabler- Yes to Chameleon.boot.plist.

    Results:

Notification center works better, it's not laggy. Launchpad works like charm. But Apps f.e Mail have poor perfomance :C When you move window, its laggy and moving from mail to mail its also visable :P I think someone good will release nvidia nvs fix :P

What about sound, touchpad/trackpad kext ?

    Any Advise ?

  9. This is my Extra Folder :) I've Install Chameleon r2380 on Yosemity partition. This is my Extra folder, please check If I do everything what you write :) I'm using kext for touchpad and keyboard form other Latitude E model, work only keyboard and touchpad(freeze and work unstable because it's from oder model, I don't know how to get for my model to work), Sound doesn't work at all, And Gui laggy :C notification ceneter and apps :C W8 for you reply! :) Thanks Herve!

    Extra.zip

  10. I will add this flag but I'm all time boot with -f -v flags in chameleon bootloader. I will figure it out what are you write about FakeSMC.kext  and other. I will install Beta 2 now. Thank You Herve for you respond ! :) I'm Newbie but I want to Learn ! :D  I'll write soon.

  11. Is there better Nvidia NVS 160m kext ? because that from 10.9 make osx 10.10 reaction slow :C If anyone have better kext or know how to fix cpu osx specyfication reply ! :)

Sorry for my bad English :)

I hope that not only I want to make OSX 10.10 work like 10.8 on our Dell :)

  12. Yes ! You're  right :) But Yesterday I've just want to install and boot OSX 10.10 :) Now I edit Smbios.plist And problem solved ;)

I've Added this flags to Smbios.plist - field it with your own specs ;)
