it's not that bad just did test and adobe photoshop(both 64 and 32) installed in 12 minute, works fine just 3d did not work as it require minimum 512 mb ram) usb copy speed is like 30mbps, tested 4k and hd videos on 1080p external monitor and 4k works at 20fps(laggy) whereas hd works fine at 60fps (without any upgrade as upgrade components would arrive little late) so yeah it's worth upgrade!

Right! i see cpu load 100% so its laggy\ Btw our Nvidea passmark is only 57 whereas hd3000 is 311 where as Intel Gma score around 110 So i am confused? Can our d630 can stream hd videos? Can it run photoshop/illustrator for basic editing? Would it lags under yosemite/elc? i am not high graphics user

Just did stress test before upgrade and i got pretty high temp on high load and system lags badly when its on high load here is my temp also my heat sink is dt785 witch have copper plate on it gpu, either heatsink is not installed properly so it giving me high temp?

I was planning to upgrade old d630 from days so i did little research all i can and i came to - Intel SSD 320 Series 160GB / 3GBPS 2.5" Sata Interface Used(90% health) available for 32 USD in local market [2nd hdd replacing with dvd with hdd caddy] - 2 x 2GB DDR2 Laptop Memory 800MHz SODIMM RAM for 22 USD - Please correct me if it's not supported in d630 - Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 (FF80577GG0563M) SLAYQ SLAPA CPU 800/2.4 GHz - is available in local market for 16 USD (is it work with our d630) OR t9300 available on aliexpress for 24 USD (witch probably wont deliver? XD) - Copper Shim Cpu and Gpu Mod for overheating! How you plan to redirect ipb links to mybb/smf? it would broke your seo very hard if you don't redirect all old links About attachment it would also broke(free software like mybb/smf don't have converter for attachment) Also switching to phpbb brokes all user password (it did last time i switch from ipb) (users have to reset passwords)

I have my father old D630 With intel Wireless, with Cpu Maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz (c2d) and minimum of 1.2GHz, 2Gb dual ddr2 sdram at 667MHz and Nvidea Nvs 135M I would like to know that can i install yosemite or mavericks on this system? i will use it for basic things like browsing with chrome, opening office 2011 (at same time as browsing internet and music/Sometimes hd videos) it will lag? and what cheapest wireless card available for this machine thank you
