they were in the rehabman patch repository. usb3 _prw(0x0D) or (0x6D) (you need to look at your dsdt before and after change to see which yours is. ) Also either remove _Prw from lid (removes option in pmset for lid wake) or poll for lid changes which includes a kext which I used but had to do lid wake 0 for it to work. I even used your post for the basis of a machine which was somewhat similar but lucked out as it needed no battery patch and no lid wake/sleep patch! Tried the lid patch and it gave errors

worked good z50-70 but on g500s, (élan i think) I find that likely undesired three finger left click too many search mac windows but at least they are in one tabbed window. If you want any more info let me know.

show kext contents go to plugins find keyboard show kext contents then open plist and edit the numlock setting.

I find the driver works well for me but a friend has a funny way of using it. They want to hold 3 fingers down on the touchpad as using the left button and it brings up the finder search mac. I think its a good feature, but it seems not so good when holding down 3 fingers and left clicking it brings up a couple at a time. Holding down 3 is good without clicking. Is there a link that explains or gives a hint to disabling the features? I read mention of a plist with settings, But have only seen the keyboard one. Using v4.4 just did sudo dmesg |grep -y std and see its synaptic thought was élan but is a z50-70 Ok just answered my own question a bit below. Found the plist but not sure which one to change. I do doubt that you wanted the one gesture I described. Upon further testing, its actually 5 search windows that pop up if one holds the trackpad with 3 fingers and clicks the mouse button.

Sleep was fixed with an additional usb patch. Another patch enabled lid sleep, and inputing 1700 into the mhz field in clover config.plist fixed the processor reading. there was another lid patch which included a kext that may enable lid wake as well but have not got it to work.

Hi there.. I have one of these but it does not have the nvidia. I followed your guide, pauldmps and most is working good but the snags left now are only sleep issues and in about this mac its reads 2.39 ghz instead of 1.7 which is what the processor is i5 4210u, I believe. Otherwise all is good. brightness keys! used it for my other lenovo too. sound good and I have a wifi card coming for it. The bios was a breeze to get the advanced menu unlocked to my amazement! Thank you so much for the guide. Do you have any suggestions for the sleep and processor? I had the pm script generate the 5th ssdt as I had 4 instead of 5 probably since there is no nvidia. edit: guide said no genericusb but was trying for the sleep not working.. also missing sleep slider in energy saver control panel. config.plist.zip DSDT.zip SSDT-4.aml.zip

Hello thanks for all the help. Ive installed the latest driver, it said 3.8.5 final? Anyway was trying to possibly get brightness to be like my real brightness keys f11 and f12. Can I do that with the config script I saw around? Or perhaps get the numlock to stay on when osx begins loading? running 10.9.4 I looked in a plist in the kext under keyboard but just saw the setting for the led on or off. It was set on disable led false already. I appreciate this version anyway besides that, no more unwanted inputs from the hands on trackpad while typing! Edit: Ok I found the portion in the plist, thanks again. Was searching for numlock instead of num lock. I was just trying a safe boot and got a crash from appleps2controller. Surprised I'd been loading both for quite some time yet still got pretty good function.
