  1. Yes virtualization disabled Great thanks what a privilege to have you transform my E6400 Really grateful you have always help us but this is overwhelming
  2. Hi all Glad and grateful to get the El-capitan 10.11.3 using Enoch boot working on E6400 except sleep / wake. Completed the installation building a bootpack from some common kext from a stable D630 as mentioned earlier. Thanks for a USB injection DSDT for E6500 from Hervé modification, with the exception of sleep / wake otherwise USB and Camera and both Ethernet and Wifi network working with a stable boot and hope to get the sleep / wake working eventually but I am grateful Thanks
  3. Hi EmlyDinesh thanks for your response to remind you I hope you get some time and lay hands on any of the bootpacks if you've still got then in your archive !! Also anyone there with E6500 / E6400 bootpack ideally viable for Enoch boot would be much appreciated Thanks
  4. Hi Hervé That's quick would do and keep you posted Thanks for all your help
  5. Hi Hervé Kindly send me a patched DSDT for E6400 or E6500 you know the boards have Intel GM45 /PM45 chipset I tried Olarila but no luck for my model. Better still I'll wait if you wold send me a complete Extra bootpack with USB support to get the camera that would we excellent. It nVidia Quadro NVS 160M GPU board using Enoch .2795 boot Thanks for all your help
  6. Yeah thanks I noticed with the LAN also the DSDT was D630 specifieds. would reuse the common ones then and feedback since I realized the E6400 hasn't got a dedicated topic or bootpack like the great D630 though I know E6400 has most similarities like the E6500
  7. @ Hervé Great thanks that was quick. I would use the r2795. Eariler I even use your El-capitanD630 nvidia bootpack and edited the kernel.plist and copied kext from /E/E to /L/E and repaired permission can I still use your El-Capitan D630 nvidia Bootpack?
  8. Hi I need help to stabilize El-Capitan on E6400 nVidia with a P9500 Its a Chameleon Enoch rev.2737 installation. It would not boot without the -f boot flag and the camera not working please! Would you please Jake Lo, Hervé Bronxteck or any member please point me in a right direction or send me a link which would be much appreciated Thanks
  9. @ Herve and Jake Lo Thanks so much for the link and heads up this is reassuring I'll move this to D630 but here for now since I believe it would help someone I have the sound working with a stable Yosemite using voodoohda.pkg 2.8.7 by installing it and editing the chameleon boot.plist string to enable it. I then enabled permission and now have a stable Yosemite that's boots normally without -f boot flag. Using the bootpack from Herve please remember to add the kext which chameleon may not see as mentioned by Herve in the link above. I have managed this using the bootpack from the link as well on three testbeds. T9300, T7500, T7300 NVidia Quadro nvs 135m using chameleon bootloader 2.3 svn r2401, r2468 and the most current r2700. Also for the kernel trying both my Yosemite extract and vanilla from Herve.
  10. @ Jack & Herve Thanks so much for the heads up you save me reading for Yosemite compatibility would do that on my next test bed install
  11. Sorry and hope you don't really mind I am using D830 section to talk about D630 (cross platform) but I hope this may equally help someone I am typing this from the D630 test bed with Yosemite just install I have tried the vanilla kernel link and is quite amazing and light relatively to the one I extracted Sorry I should have read a bit more from the forum but I have been absent for a long time and now getting back on I I need to get the video and sound in the absent of the bootpack and EDP Any heads up would be good for my subsequent chameleon base HACKS Thanks
  12. Great thanks for the link excellent work so many to chose from I wish I had read this earlier I was lazy in asking so I used the latest version of Pacifist to extract it from the Essential systemsoftware.pkg Also with the D630 NVidia bootpack link being down could please send me a link with Bootpack for Yosemite chameleon installer support. I would be grateful for any Heads Up as well such as complete supporting files that you have used for the recommended version. stable r2468. My D630 test bed is currently running stable Maverick on Bios A19, [email protected] with 4GB DDR2 and nVidia Quadro NVS 135M with Yosemite OS X installation media from Apple Store Thanks
  13. Hi Herve I think it would be good if one states where the kernel file is located originally and how they are extracted from the Essentials .pkg for future reference.
  14. Hi Herve This is a very good summary and a great work as usual In 3. above You copy kernel to System/--------- Could you please clarify the location and file that has to be copied to System/Library/Kernels under the file name kernel Also if one can use the most current version of chameleon boot loader Thanks
  15. @Bronxteck Yes I suppose so since it is pointing towards the EDP configuration for the D630 NVidia Great thanks you've always been fantastic
