  1. Here is my new patched file DSDT.aml... DSDT.zip
  2. ok, nothing is possible with Chameleon Wizard (I don't know why my patch file is invalidated). Finally, I've used MaciASL with a GOOD path for the "Patch Sources List" (see Readme.txt) http://raw.github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/master/ I've patched my DSDT.DSL file with success. I've compiled this DSL file to AML, and then, I've moved this new file to the /Extra/ directory. I've reboot, and... nothing happened. My battery still doesn't work...
  3. Thank you very much for your answer. I have created a new file called "toto.txt" on my desktop with VI (I was used it usually on Linux), but... It's impossible to select it on the DSDT patch "Browse button" in Chamelon Wizard. What's wrong with it ?
  4. ok, I've read this Articles http://www.osxlatitude.com/a-light-practical-introduction-to-dsdt-patching/ With Chamelon Wizard, I've extracted DSDT.aml to my desktop (a DSDT.dsl file was created). I've found a patch here https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/battery/battery_ASUS-N55SL.txt I've tried to patch my DSDT.dsl file with Chameleon Wizard, but it can't load this patch, because it can't see the file battery_ASUS-N55SL.txt copied on my desktop (created with Word in MS-DOS format)... So, I've tried to use this method to Creating your patched DSDT using MACiASL In MaciASL Preferences -> Sources, I've add this link https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/ in the Patch Sources list In MaciASL Preferences -> iASL, I've choose ACPI Specifications "5.0A" In MaciASL File -> Open the DSDT.dsl file extracted with Chamelon Wizard In MaciASL Patch -> I've selected the line "Laptop-DSDT-Patch" -> "<td id="LC52" class="blob ...... ASUS N55SL/Vivobook" but when I select this patch, I have an error message "File fetch error" : "URL 'https://github.com/RehabMan/Laptop-DSDT-Patch/blob/master/battery/battery_ASUS-N55SL.txt%3C/td%3E'said 'not found' " thanks for your help
  5. Except the CPU power management ? In any case, apart the CPU power management, for me everything works perfectly with this config. A very big thanks for your job ! :-P
  6. my DSDT wasn't ever patched during installation with "EDP - Config - Build from model database" ?
  7. I just saw something very strange. The battery works perfectly after the notebook came out of hibernation... with fan running at full speed! Obviously, the battery stops working again when I reboot... Damned
  8. This is an OsX Mavericks install on my Asus N73SV Notebook. All work fine, except the battery... I've tried to install "RehabMan-Battery-2015-1230.zip", but the battery is not recognized ...
  9. Hello ! My icon battery doesn't work (X). I though the problem came from the battery, and i've bought a new one. But, I still have the same problem. So, I made a new clean install yesterday with "ASUS N53 Model" in EDP Config. I have unselected "Bluetooth Firmware Uploader (EMlyDinEsH)" in Fixes EDP, because I don't have Bluetooth.. I have unselected "Asus Backlight - v1.7 (EMlyDinEsh)" in Optional, because my notebook doesn't boot (I don't know why). And I verified that the Kext/Drivers "Battery: Updated ACPI Battery v.1.55 by RehabMan" was selected, but... When I rebuild Cache and Permissions, there is nothing more. My new battery doesn't work. Thank you very much for your help
  10. Thanks a lot to this post , I have my hackintosh !!! My ASUS is a Hackintosh N73SV-V2G-TZ548V (specifications identical to EMlyDinEsH’s computer, except no bluetooth, no BluRay, RAM 8GB, a 250GB SSD). The prerequisites are: USB mouse USB 16GB minimum Download myHack http://myhack.sojugarden.com/guide/ Download EDP (with Kext Wizard) http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/download/ Download the Atheros AR9285 WiFi Kext for Mavericks https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/5690-atheros-ar9285-for-os-x-mavericks/ Download Chameleon BootPacks ASUS N53S for the Mavericks (10.9.xx) http://www.osxlatitude.com/edp/compatibility/ And Osx Mavericks of course… For pre-installation : Prepare the USB stick with myHack as shown in the tutorial (in dialog boxes that appear at the end of the preparation, I responded to the first NO, YES to the next on the Core i7 processor, and the NO last on nVidia) After creating the key, replace the /Extra folder on the USB stick by the /Extra folder content in BootPacks (Asus n53SV) The key is ready. You can test it. Copy Kext Wizard, the Kext the Atheros WiFi AND BootPacks on your USB drive (in my case, I copied these files to an SD Card) ... For installation (on the hackintosh): Connect the USB mouse Install OsX with the USB key. Be Careful : after the installation is complete, restart with the USB key. Start an new installation again (but only in order to launch the Terminal). In Terminal, replace the /Extra from your OSX installation folder by the /Extra BootPacks folder the content on the USB (SD card for me) Remove the key and restart The system starts well. For Internet connection : Install Kext Wizard For Wifi: with Kext Wizard, install the Atheros AR9285 Kext For Ethernet with Multi Beat install Kext AtherosL1cEthernet 1.2.3 (Drivers - Network - Atheros) Reboot The network operates Customization: Download EDP CONFIG menu, then "Build Model from database", "System: Notebook," "Vendor: Asus", "Asus N53 Series", "Asus N53SV (Intel HD3000 .....)", "Intel Core i7-2630QM Processor (...) "," Bootloader: Chameleon ... ". Click "Continue to configure your system." For my part, having no Bluetooth on my machine, I set to OFF switch "Bluetooth Firmware Uploader" in FIXED. I set to OFF switch "Asus Backlight" in OPTIONAL too, cause kernel panic. Click "Configure System" Reboot There you go, ENJOY !!!!! (sorry for my English, I've used Google translate...)
