  1. Ok, I will try this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'd just like to thank you all for spend time to my case. If you don't help me, I'd be lost. I have the Yosemite running on Dell optiplex 9020 with good performance. Now I'm going to install Windows and dual boot. Wish me luck. Thanks a lot!
  2. If i undestood, your fakeSMC that i copied to SSD/Extra, it's super correct!!! It's because i have no more lag at Yosemite, it has a great performance now. i think is all perfect now! Sound is enable! Thank you very much all! Thank you Jake Lo, Bronxteck, Hervé! Now i need to install Windows and after make a dual boot. For this, I need to change UEFI boot and installing Windows. Changing to UEFI mode, my hack will keep working? After this, I will make the dual boot. What do you suggest me? Is there any tutorial?
  3. Jake Lo, I didn't it. 1- After your last message, I copied Extra folder to Macintosh SSD root. is it correct? After this, I realized that when I open Chameleon Wizard, now, it's get a 14,2 Imac SMBios, I imagine that SMBIOS is that I've downloaded packet of your guide, right? I've no sound yet. How to get full graphics acceleration for these kexts? I've moved back AppleIntelHD* and AppleIntelF*. 2 - By the way, I have problems to follow this tutorial (http://www.osxlatitude.com/tuning-performance-with-fakesmc-smbios-plist/). What data should I use to replace DATA field from RVBF, REV and RVUF. Thanks
  4. Ok, a new issue ! I achieved to install Yosemite! For the first time that I initialized system, I did through USB bootloader, selecting "Mac Yosemite" (SSD Hard Drive). That's ok! So, I did post install by Jake Lo guide and after I restarted the computer but I cannot up the system again. Why? That's the message: "missing bluetooth controller transport"! -v shows me above message. -x shows me apple screen progress bar. This progress bar reaches nearly 50% and stop. Searching on google, I found it and I tried: Boot with -s Type: mount -uw / Type: cd /System/Library/Extensions Type: mkdir intel_back Type: mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelF* intel_back/ Type: touch ../Extensions unfortunatelly, no success. Any idea?
  5. So, how to configure SMBios.plist correctly on Chameleon Wizard for my PC? Dell 9020 Optiplex Intel Core i7 4770 (CPU) Intel® HD Graphics 4600 (Video) Dell Inc. 0XCR8D (Mainboard) 8GB DDR3 (Memory) Bellow print screen of my choice. That's correct? http://www.mediafire.com/view/7ake5ml5waajima/Screen_Shot_2014-12-04_at_9.17.13_AM.png
  6. What better way to make a DUAL BOOT, after installation of both (Yosemite and Windows)?
  7. Too late I did it! But first i removed my main HD and added a new hd to make this, so I still have my data. guess what? NO "STILL WAITING ROOT FOR DEVICE"!! I'll finish my Yosemite installation with your guide Jake Lo, and I'll be back here. Thanks thanks thanks again!!!
  8. I'm going to format my Hard Disk and installing first Yosemite and after Windows. I'll try it, cause i don't see another way. I'll be back to report something about it. Is there something that I should know in special, before installation? Wish me luck! Thank you all.
  9. I've done the bios firmware. no issue for my Hard Disk. I think it's good. But i have no idea about what is the problem "Still waiting...".
  10. @Jake, i'm not sure if i understood... Do you want that i use a new slave hard disk to make a new installation of Yosemite with Chameleon bootloader? I don't know if it helps, but primary SO Dell 9020 is Windows 8.1 and i do not changed it. I just created with MacDrive (running under Windows 8.1) a HFS+ partition. So, i achieved to install Mac on this partition, but never, never could boot with it. Always the message was and still is "Still For Waiting Root Device".
  11. No. Should I put it on Extra/Extensions in USB bootable only or also in SSD? Remembering that I'm using Chameleon.
  12. As you know, I've tried so much things options to boot my Yosemite. I achieved to install it on HFS+ partition, created by MacDrive, but after this, my system is not starts. Firstly it was rebooting loop. Jake Lo suggested me to change my SSD kernel (where Yosemite was installed) by the USB stick (Chameleon Bootable). Well, it does work partially. It stops rebooting loop, but I'm still stuck, it's because the new issue is: STILL WAITING FOR ROOT DEVICE. Furthermore, last but one line shows me "USBMSC Identifier (non-unique)..." as you know see bellow: Some hints have been given by the hacintoshers here, but unfortunatelly I didn't still get success. No success. No success. Jake Lo, on 01 Dec 2014 - 5:50 PM, said: No success. Any idea?
  13. Jake Lo, I did it when you answered my private msg. Well, it worked partially. It stops boot loop, but starts with "still waiting for root device" as you see bellow:
  14. Friends, one more step completed! I achieved to format my "not allocated space" with HFS+ through "MacDrive 9" on Windows. That's great!!!! I achieved to install Yosemite in this partition (HFS+) through my USB Installer / Boot Loader. No errors! That's Wonderful!!! BUT......... Immediatelly after to install Yosemite, the system asks to reboot, right? So, I tried to boot the PC from USB in Chameleon screen, this time, selecting Macintosh SSD (it's where I've installed Yosemite), to finally complete the installation, but guess what????? BOOT LOOP!!!! Honestly, I'm tired, but I won't give up! So, how can I proceed? Is there anything to do?
  15. Bronxteck thanks. My issue now is to format 70GB separated for me in HD. I had already Windows 8.1 installed on my PC. So, running Windows, with the EaseUS Partition, I separated 70GB for MAC, but I kept it with "not allocated space", I didn't format it with NTFS or FAT, just "not allocated space". Then, I started with USB bootable chameleon, that's ok! So, I tried to use Disk Utility (already inside Yosemite installation) to format this partition (70GB not allocated space) with "Mac Os Extended Journaled", but I don't know why, it didn't work. Moreover, I also tried to format with Ex-fat or MS-DOS, just for test, but I had no success. Always the disk utility get loading, loading, loading, but the process never is completed. I wouldn't like to format all my Hard Disk, starting with Mac and after installing Windows, but I don't see another way... unless somebody has a solution for my case. What am I doing wrong? Why my new "not allocated space" can't formatted by Disk Utility (Mac)?
  16. Please, tell me what i'm doing wrong... Step 1: Create a partition for OS X I've the "not alocated space" (70GB) only for MAC in my HD, as you can see above in picture. So, I think it's prepared to be formated by Disk Utility (Mac). Step 2: Run Command Prompt as Administrator and type these commands: When I try to do that... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- diskpart select disk 0 list partition (show a list of partitions on the drive, keep in mind the number of the partition that you are supposed to install OS X to) select partition x (x is the OS X partition) active DISKPART> ACTIVE The selected disk is not a fixed MBR disk. The ACTIVE command can only be used on fixed MBR disks. it's because my HD already is GPT and ACTIVE, if I understood, it does work for MBR disks. So, should I "start at the begin", first installing MAC and after Windows 8?
  17. Jake Lo, I downloaded software for manage partitions and I achieve to part my Hard Disk. So, now I have one partition NTFS Windows 8.1 and a new partition without format. So, I reboot with USB Yosemite. That's ok! The next step, I try to use disk utility, but I can't create any partition! Always loading, loading, loading and no more. Software of manage partition shows me GUID table always. See the image right corner: Maybe I try another disk, I don't know, but the best way would be a dual boot with the same Hard Disk. I need the dual boot, because I can't have just Macintosh, I need Windows as well. So, what do you suggest for me?
  18. Hey Jake Lo, finally It does work! I did make the installation with Chameleon version of your guide and it does work! I I'm very happy, thanks, BUT... Questions: Can I make dual boot (Windows) with the same Hard Disk? If yes, What actions to take to not affect my windows partition that already exists? If not, can I install it on USB external hd? I was thinking about to install it on another SATA hard disk, but I'll need to buy a new hard drive disk and I don't know if it's possible in 9020 (2 Hard disks). How do I proceed?
