  1. Headed home after a 2 day business trip to nj. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed again lol

  2. i need to boot with PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x2000 or it gets stuck @ pci configuration begin. and i used the org.chameleon.boot.plist from the install zip to install but it had the same issue as ive got now, so i used the one jebediah supplied. same issue.
  3. well, it seems as if the backlight turns off just as its booting. I tried forcing the screen res (as jebediah suggested) and that didn't work, same as either injector. if i keep the injectors off, screen still turns off. I've tried removing my second hdd with my backup copy of snow leopard, just to be sure it wasn't trying to use my snow leo dsdt, same issues.
  4. W00t! Got mountain lion installing on an hp pavillion g7, intel pentium b950@ 2.10 ghz, 8gb ddr3 ram, intel hd3000 graphics. Not bad for a day's work.

  5. First, thanks for the guide. For weeks I've fought ml and lion (above 10.7.2) to work properly. My main issue, the screen shuts off just after "pci configuration begin". the last time i tried this, i asked on tonycrapx86 and they told me i needed a "dual link patch". i tried to follow their "tutorial" on how to use this patch, but none of the variables they wanted me to find were in my dsdt. So i gave up until I found this guide. I actually got to see the installer this time, however now that it is installed and ready to go, it will not stop turning the screen off. I've tried both dsdt's I've found in this post, as well as setting my graphics mode to 1280x800x32 (as that's my native res) and the screen still shuts off. I remember when i installed snow leo that it required me to use NVEnabler and not Graphics Enabler, but i haven't seen either work with ml.
