Great work on the guide! Has anyone gotten a docking station with external monitor working with Yosemite? If I boot and then dock, my USB keyboard and mouse work immediately, but the vga display is never detected. If I dock and then boot up, osx loads but laptop screen goes dark just before login prompt, and I have to do a hard shutdown. I think it's still running, as I tried to login blindly and got a few notification sounds. Thanks for this great community!
