did you try install with -x ? do you have a external monitor ? maybe there is the solution for mine i cant install with external i have to remove and install it with laptop monitor

Did you installed or only boot from usb installation?

The last update include the new trackpad kext, about the sleep i dont know i never use it

How may hours of battery you can get? Mine is like 2 hours at it maximum, 1:50 average.
I get the same more or less, 1:30 of average

I don´t know if we can fix it but i don´t think so and for mine work fine and neither i get high temperatures

Yes, windows use more the low frequency, in my mac always is over 2ghz. Thats one of reasons of the battery duration.

Is the same processor man, intel i7 3610qm, the only difference from you laptop and mine is the Nvidia card, mine is 610m, yours is 630m, and i'm using my own dsdt and SSDT, but my pc is over 56º always.
Mine is the same arround these temperature

use your own dsdt and ssdt maybe your processor is different

i don't use hdmi for audio for ,i every thing use audio jack 3.5
i think do you need parching AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext for audio

I have all working in new version but HDMI sound not, i don't post anything till a have it all working. Do you have sound through the HDMI?

localized problem . I use two monitors, and then upgrade to 10.10.1 , will not start. If I unplug the hdmi , boots fine .

Hi there. I have X401A with Core i3 and now I have everything work except headphones output. the audio codec is alc272 but it work with alc270 too. My question is : How can I get headphones output work? Because no headphones option in Sound prefer~.
use an applehda patched for your codec
