Re: Post 15 I am using the usb 2.0 port.. but what to do about the installer... i have tried downloading the installer again from app store from the other dell laptop running yesomite .

I am installing it on dell inspiron 15 3521... my friend is already running os x yesomite already on his laptop.... so i followed the process from the page https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6544-dell-inspiron-3x21-5x21-clover-install-guide/ i downloaded the Yosemite Install app from his laptop with appstore....when installing i get the error "error while extracting from the essential.pkg". So what to do next??
