Anybody??? The closest I've gotton is a you tube video thats in Vietnamese "Apple HDA guide" by Hoang. Please someone? I can really only learn this visually, It doesn't really work for me to follow a guide because whenever someone writes a guide, they want to be cool and use fancy terms that will lose some one who's not so practiced instantly. Really frustrating.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I appreciate it so very much! But I don't want to try VoodooHDA because its such bad quality. I want to learn how to do this the right way. Though I have a couple other hackintoshes, they were not a challenge. This one has indeed been a big challenge. But I'm about up to my last hair.

Please HELP!!! I have the same computer and I still can't get the audio to work despite the previous post saying that all worked except for backlight etc...I tried the last DSDT on this post and though it improved the state of my hack, I still can't get audio!!! Hello, Wondering if you can please help me! I've looked at all the you tube tutorials available on appleHDA patching and I'm not having an easy time here. I've been waiting for a reply but havn't heard anything yet. I downloaded the DSDT file shown above just to see if this would help but so far nothing happens. I have the same machine. I can't get the volume on my hack to work. As far as trying to patch myself, I've been to all the available sites. I can only get so far. Now I'm stuck at where I need a script pact binary to enter into terminal to get ahead. HELPPPP!!! IS it maybe possible that someone can send me or post all the files to get my machine further ahead here??? PLEASE!!!!! -very frustrated now -Oh and Also, Its not Clover. Just a unifail chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) install. IF Clover would be my best option, then which drivers do I select when I get to the section on drivers 64(i believe its called) , is it the last three last two, etc? not sure which ones. Hello, I have an Asus K53E Sandy bridge HD3000. I've had such a difficult time getting an answer about DSDT. I just want to know how someone patches their DSDT if your motherboard is not on any repository. I'm using MacAISL (or trying) in order to use the Asus notebooks display backlight kext, I guess I have to go the DSDT route. Please help, so I can give back! So far what isn't still working is my wake from sleep, screen backlight adjust, sound and of course wifi/BT
