  1. All the searches Ive done seem to say the same thing, use npci=0x3000 and that will get past the pci configuration begins hang but obviously not on my system
  2. Right I have now tried all of these flags/options on boot that you have suggested and still cant get any further than before, Ive done a search on google for settings regarding my motherboard but all i could find was someone said to try iPC bootup disc but this requires an osx server licence etc so sounds a bit of a bind considering ive already got a retail copy of Snow Leopard. Any other ideas?
  3. I've tried all of them singularly but still freezes at same point, will try them all together tonight as a last resort other than that what would be my next move, I even tried -force64, still same result.
  4. am I right in thinking you can only use one of those flags/options at a time?
  5. I had a look inside my pc and found that i still had a catweasel mk4 fitted so removed that just in case it what was causing the problem but tried it again and still doesnt get past PCI configuration begin. Any ideas as to what it could be, the only cards fitted to my pci-e is my geforce 8600 gt nvidia graphics card, does this mean that my graphics card isnt supported?
  6. I didn't get that far, I booted the cd, then swapped discs to the snow leopard one. It booted then pressed any key, then it froze at the position I specified. The only changes I made was to the bios as shown in the tutorial. My graphics card is an Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT model 256MB
  7. Hi guys just thought I would say hi, new to the forum, hoping to learn, thanks in advance
  8.
