I will be getting the wireless card in the mail later today so will be testing that. I just reinstalled from scratch and am booting from hard drive with your boot pack. I still have no sound for some reason. I have the vanilla apple hda and the newer alc kext from the updated files. Also I did run those commands and rebooted. I ran them a second time after rebooting and didn't get any output or errors. Thanks!

I removed voodoo hda kext, apple hda disabler kext and all those 4 kexts are copied to s/l/e including the updated alc kext. Ran permission fix and no audio on reboot. Any idea?

Awesome! I will give that a try when I get the card.. One other thing I noticed.. whenever the computer goes to sleep audio isn't working on resume unless I restart Any ideas? Thanks

yes it does.. currently has the intel 7265.. Do I need any special kexts when I get this?

Hi everyone I have successfully installed El Capitan and most everything is working I7 5600u + Intel HD5500 16gb Ram 250gb ssd I have full QE/CI Audio working with VoodooHDA Trackpad/Keyboard working Edimax USB adapter working (for now until I buy internal card) The only thing I haven't got working is the backlight control, webcam, and I'm not sure if power management is working correctly. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Thanks, I think I have everything working now. Is there any way to get bluetooth working with intel 7260? I am using a usb ac wireless adapter for the wifi side
