  1. Hi, i've installed on my pc MacOS Mojave but after installation my pc, sometimes, crash giving kernel panic. I came to the conclusion that it is a random kernel panic because sometimes it starting up and other times it isn't starting up and this is caused for my Wi-Fi chipset (BCM94350ZAE), also, after a few minutes, the PC freezes with cursor slowing and Wifi has disconnected P.S Sorry for my Bad English and my incompetence. Before updating to a new version of Mojave please update kexts (and clover if necessary) to newer versions to avoid kernel panics. Generate a serial number with Clover Configurator.app (open up your config.plist with CC then -> SMBIOS -> Serial Number -> Generate New) Mojave & Windows 10 Dual-Boot: Dual-boot clean install (on one drive), UEFI Only: Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac), Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart, Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 5. You're done! It will booting into Clover when you start the system, and you can select Win or Mac (or another OS if installed on a 3rd partition). Dual-boot with Windows installed first (on one drive), UEFI Only: If you already have Windows and you don't want to lose all your data there is a hope: I created a video from this restore method: [Hackintosh] Dual-Boot High Sierra & Windows - when Windows already installed - no data waste - UEFI You need bootable Mac Installer and a full system restore image (link is in my video's description). (You may see errors if your EFI partition is not 200 MB) Boot into your Windows, resize your partition or create one for Mac. Boot into your Mac installer and in Disk Utility format the partition you created. Restore from image: select your full system restore image. When it's finished restoring you just need to restart, then boot to the system with your usb. When you successfully booted to Mac desktop, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), open EFI, you will see there is a Microsoft folder already (don't touch that!). Copy my CLOVER folder to the EFI folder then Restart. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 7. You're done! You can select your old Windows and your new macOS! (Only tried with Windows 8/8.1/10. I don't know Windows 7,etc.) IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING MAC RESTORE: - Make sure you have partitions in GPT - Windows using 100 MB EFI and will annoy the Mac restore. Don't worry, just ignore the errors. IF YOU GETTING ERRORS DURING WINDOWS INSTALLATION (could not be formatted, etc): - Make sure you have GPT partitions, and GPT (UEFI) installer, also disconnect all external storage drives (except the installer USB) IF YOU USED RESTORE METHOD THEN CAN'T MOUNT YOUR EFI PARTITION (No EFI partition found): - It's because your EFI is not 200 MB or not an "Apple" original EFI, but do not worry, try another EFI mounter, or mount from terminal (I used EFI mounter v3: Getting errors, but you can mount and use without problem) - You also could "mount" the EFI from Windows: 1st method: open cmd in administrator mode and type: diskpart list vol (Now select the "System" volume,(FAT 32) For example I select 4) sel vol 4 list part (Select System type partition, for example 2) sel part 2 assign letter=b (This will "mount" your EFI partition) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI remove letter=b (This will "unmount" your EFI) 2nd method: open cmd in administrator mode and type: mountvol b: /s (This will mount your EFI) Open Explorer++ or TotalCommander in administrator mode to manage EFI mountvol b: /d (This will unmount your EFI) Thanks to all OSXLatitude members for helping me out! 4. Hi All, I've installed 10.9.3 using myHack and Chameleon on the Dell T3500 desktop (see my signature for specs). It's running pretty sweet. Has anyone got Clover running on this machine? I've tried creating a Clover usb to test as per Clover wiki but getting a boot1f error. Thanks!
  5. Hello all, this is my first post and am hoping one of you geniuses can help me out. I have a Dell Latitude E5430 with the following specs: Intel Core i5 3210 M (Ivy Bridge, 2.5 Ghz) Intel HD Graphics 4000 8 GB Ram When looking through the clover bootpacks, I found the bootpacks for similar models but not the E5430. Has anyone successfully compiled a bootpack for this model? Could I use a similar model? Version of MacOs doesn''t matter, however Sierra would be nice. Thanks a ton!!

  7. A first-time Hackintosher needing some assistance. Could anyone assist with the necessary kexts and config.plist required to get to boot? Two weeks in and I'll take anything I can get right now even if it's for Sierra, HFS or APFS. LAPTOP specs: Dell Latitude E6520 - i7-2620M - 8GB RAM - HD3000 - NVS 4200 - Crucial 525GB SSD - WD 250GB HDD Finally got a bootable High Sierra image from Hackintosh Zone and able to boot into clover, though get stuck during boot using either legacy or UEFI. Using Legacy I get the 'Still waiting for root device error' - Applied the USBBusFix flag, aptiofix to no avail with UEFI I get the prohibited sign (Verbose mode does reveal some other error) FakeSMC is added. I've tried the Sandy-Bridge config.plist as well as generic ones for legacy & UEFI to no avail I've attached my current EFI folder, EFI_CLOVER.zip
  8. Hello everyone! I have recently updated my xps 13 9343 from sierra 10.12.6 to high sierra 10.13.6. I know my all files are converted to apfs format and I need apfs.efi or apsfdriverloader.efi in EFI clover driversUEFI64 folder to load partition. I have dual boot Windows 10. Once I place those files to that folder, clover won't boot as all. Without those files I can only see Windows partition. So now I am stuck half way. Is there a conflict? What could be wrong?
  9. Hello. I prepared my installer according to the guide, but when I go to boot to the installer, it shows the Apple logo for maybe 1/2 a second. Does anybody know what could fix this? I am trying to install macOS Sierra
  10. Hello, I've been attempting to get El Capitan installed on my Latitude E7450, and am moments away from just setting it on fire and moving on with life. I have (repeatedly) followed the steps as posted in these two threads: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8514-dell-latitude-e7450-el-capitan-clover-uefi-only/ https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8506-dell-latitude-inspiron-el-capitan-clover-guide/ The main differences from my machine and the one in the guide linked above, are: Processor: Intel® Core i5-5300U CPU @ 2.30GHz Memory: 1x 8GB DDR3L 1600 MHz DIMM Following the guide as-is, I end up suffering with the error: OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This occurs every time. I've tried different USB ports, doesn't matter. Replacing 'OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi' with 'OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi' , with 10 (re)boots (multiple usb ports), I get a mix of: OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no Error allocating 0x#### pages at 0x####... alloc type 2 Error loading kernel cache (0x9) Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting... OsxAptioFixDrv: Starting overrides for System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi Using reloc block: yes, hibernate wake: no Error allocating 0x#### pages at 0x####... alloc type 2 Could not allocate runtime area Boot failed, sleeping for 10 seconds before exiting... Finally, replacing 'OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi' with 'OsxLowMemFixDrv-64.efi', I simply get: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ One thing I see as soon as Clover loads is a circle/icon on the left that says 'Not detected', yet I'm not sure exactly what is not being detected. In an attempt to provide as much information as possible, I've attached the cpuinfo, lspci, and dmesg output of my laptop (undocked, Fedora 23) to give an accurate reading of the hardware. Please send help... Thank you. Edit: I'm using Clover v2.3k_r3354 I've attached my EFI folder as well. The only modification made to 'config.plist' was adding in '-v' to the boot args Clover v2.3k_r3354 cpuinfo.txt dmesg.txt lspci_vv.txt EFI.zip
  11. Hey! I have a working and stable Mojave running on this Acer notebook. For installation and post-installation use my bootpack (down in the attachments). For Wi-Fi: 1st method: You can choose an external USB wifi dongle (I used TP-Link Archer T1U (5GHz support), TP-Link has official macOS drivers, you just need to install it 2nd and I think the best method: Replace your M.2 Qualcomm Card with a compatible BCM94352Z card (you will have hand-off Bluetooth too), just install the kexts (enabled with BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2, FakePCIID.kext, FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext, install them with Kext Utility or other kext installer). You could buy this card from ebay, aliexpress, or amazon If you are using a Single RAM and getting panics at boot add these to your config.plist (SMBIOS->after "Version 1.0") Please edit the frequency and size to match your RAM: <key>Version</key> <string>1.0</string> <key>Memory</key> <dict> <key>Channels</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>SlotCount</key> <integer>1</integer> <key>Modules</key> <array> <dict> <key>Slot</key> <integer>0</integer> <key>Size</key> <integer>8192</integer> <key>Frequency</key> <integer>2133</integer> <key>Type</key> <string>DDR4</string> </dict> </array> </dict> </dict> PowerManagement fix: set HWPEnable=YES in Clover (Already set), CPUFloor to "700", Frequency to "2300" and "3200"(Normal and Turbo, if you have i7-6700HQ version then it should be "2600", "3500") and "FrequencyVectors" from "0x0d000000" to "0x07000000" in "S/L/E/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/X86PlatformPlugin.kext/Contents/Resources/Mac-A5C67F76ED83108C.plist", MSR _xcpm_idle Patch to KernelToPatch in Clover (If you have High Sierra, change "MatchOS" to 10.13): <key>KernelToPatch</key> <array> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>MSR 0xE2 _xcpm_idle instant reboot(c) Pike R. Please open README in the bootpack I'm using Mojave in Dual-boot with Windows 10. To do this in a clean install or with Windows installed first try my minimal guide: Dual-boot clean install (on one drive), UEFI Only: 1. Boot into your Mac installer, Create 2 partitions in GUID table (1 for Win (I used FAT32 but I think it doesn't matter what you choose), 1 for Mac), 2. Install Mac, boot with your USB, mount your EFI partition (use terminal or an EFI mounter app), create an EFI folder (if there is no folder), copy the CLOVER folder I attached to the EFI folder, restart, 3. Boot into your Win installer, Format the partition you created for Win, install. 4. Now, it's automatically booting into Windows. To use Clover open cmd in administrator, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} path \EFI\CLOVER\CLOVERX64.efi 5. You're done! 13. I have an E6520 laptop and I've upgraded some parts to it... I've upgraded the CPU from a core i5 to a Core i7 2670QM as well as upgraded the screen to a 1080P screen (I don't have Nvidia graphics, just straight HD3000) The issue I am having is that, when I'm running off straight battery power, I will hear the fans rev up and then the laptop will just shut off. It doesn't behave this way under windows or linux. I'm running the latest BIOS (I believe it's A20 or A19) on this laptop. I've attached my clover folder to see if I might have something off or not. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. CLOVER.zip

  15. Hello everyone, after following instructions on this site i have been running Yosemite on my Asus N53SV for years now. Nothing wrong with my system but i think its time to move to the next OS before im left without support. Issue is I tried upgrading straight from the apps store but didn't work. then i tried following same steps as i did on yosemite but using Sierra and still dint work. I cant even get in to the install screen. Maybe my Yosemite Kexts dont work under Sierra ? Any help will be appreciated. Here are my Specs. Asus N53SV 1080p (originally 720p but i upgraded the panel to 1080P so i had to perform a patch) Intel quadcore i7 8GB Ram 512 SSD
  16. Attempted to update clover from r4369 to r4411. Using bootpack files. Clover hangs at black screen/verbose Hangs at ++++++++. No error. Reverting clover binary to previous used .efi file works correctly.
  17. My Dell Latitude E7450 (A17 set to UEFI) with integrated graphics only is able to boot Clover from the USB stick I created, but the High Sierra installation is not an option in the Clover menu - only my hard drive partitions are listed. I have tried creating the stick by manually creating the USB install stick using this guide and then replacing the files in the EFI partition with the generic bootpack + E7450_HD5500_Only_A17_HS.zip from here. The stick is a USB 3.0 stick and I've tried it both in an "on board" USB 3.0 port and in a USB 2.0 port in the dock - same result. The stick was created in a VirtualBox machine running Sierra. Since the App Store update resulted in one of those ~20 MB downloads, I used macOS High Sierra patcher to download the full installer. Please advice what futher information I should provide to debug this. Thanks in advance.
  18. Hello. I have Dell Latitude E7440 i5 4300U 8GB Intel HD 4400 1366x768. 19. I am having problem with my lcd brightness value reset to full brightness on everyboot. I am running hackintosh High Sierra on a Lenovo x260. Clover is installed as UEFI only with rc scripts and using EMUVariable driver for nvram emulation. I can confirm nvram emulation is working from the nvram - p output of terminal as below. Right now, all values are retained such as volume level and other ids, except for the lcd brightness value. I am using AppleBacklightInjector kext for my lcd and patched ssdt. I am also attaching my config, kexts,ssd/dsdt in clover. Can anyone advice what should I do? fakesmc-key-BEMB-flag %01 fakesmc-key-RPlt-ch8* j130%00%00%00%00 fakesmc-key-RBr -ch8* 2016mb%00%00 EFILoginHiDPI %00%00%00%00 fakesmc-key-#KEY-ui32 %00%00%00%12 SystemAudioVolumeDB %ee fakesmc-key-BATP-flag %00 platform-uuid %cc%92%87d%d3-%b2%11%a8\%94g%ec%cf'%c0 fakesmc-key-MSTc-ui8 %00 EmuVariableUefiPresent Yes security-mode none fakesmc-key-BNum-ui8 %01 csr-active-config g%00%00%00 fakesmc-key-$Num-ui8 %01 fakesmc-key-MSFW-ui8 %01%00 fakesmc-key-MSPS-ui16 %00%03 fakesmc-key-REV -ch8* %026%0f%00%00%97 fmm-computer-name My%e2%80%99s MacBook Pro backlight-level %1c%00 bootercfg (%00 fakesmc-key-$Adr-ui32 %00%00%03%00 fakesmc-key-EPCI-ui32 %09 %f0%00 bluetoothActiveControllerInfo +%0a%87%80%00%00%00%00`%14%e4%a7%a0%0b%e1%94 fakesmc-key-MSAc-ui16 %00%00 fakesmc-key-MSLD-ui8 %00 SystemAudioVolume ? specialbootdevice %02%01%0c%00%d0A%03%0a%00%00%00%00%01%01%06%00%00%17%03%12%0a%00%01%00%00%00%00%00%04%01*%00%02%00%00%00(@%06%00%00%00%00%00%a8%f7=%09%00%00%00%00%84%8b[%c5%dd%10eA%8b%f5%ba%d1%b1%0ab%84%02%02%7f%ff%04%00 fakesmc-key-RMde-char A fakesmc-key-BBIN-ui8 %01 flagstate %00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00%00 fakesmc-key-MSWr-ui8 %00 CLOVER.zip
  20. Hi, First let me thank everyone for all the guides, notes and contribution. Really thank you. Ok.. I have a Dell E6430 laptop. I changed the Wireless card for one compatible, and installed a 500GB SSD. I'm installing High Sierra. I followed the guide "Dell Latitude / Inspiron / Precision / XPS - Clover Guide" and all the installation process went perfect. I just go trouble to manage to start the mac OS without the Pendrive, but that's working now. Now my problem is the post installation. I followed the rest of the guide but for some reason it's not working. My issues are the following: USB Port not working. (This one is very weird, only the left usb port works. The right ones are not working) Sound is not working. Battery status not working. Webcam is not working. HDMI (not tested yet) VGA (not tested yet) So far my biggest concern is the USB and sound, . I used the E6430_A12.zip. Please find attached a copy of my EFI folder of the USB installer. The same content is in the EFI partition of the laptop. Any help will be truly appreciated. Thanks in advance CloverUSBContent.zip

  23. Hi, I'm trying to install macOS Sierra on an fujitsu siemens scaleo p2 g31t-m2. The system have a core 2 quad processor. (= Sandy Bridge) BEFORE: I had an version of snow leopard version 10.6.8 running on the system. I have the system OS upgraded to el capitan on following method. I have el capitan installation file downloaded from the mac app store and an bootable USB stick. I inject NVIDEA. The system I can install with using the following bootflags: dart=0 nv_disable=1 (-x) -v After the installation completed is I have the Clover bootloader installed on the HDD from https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded)/. The systems was perfectly updated to OS X El Capitan and can now boot without my USB connected and works smoothly. CURRENT: Now I'm trying to update the system to macOS Sierra. I have again an bootable USB stick, again selected for the options usb, sierra and inject nvidea. So far all good.... But now i want to boot from my sierra USB with the same bootflags as before "dart=0 nv_disable=1 (-x) -v" but i can't get to the installation screen. the screen hangs on the apple logo or when i used the bootflag -v the screen hangs on line 1 with plus signs. (see attached picture). How can I solve that problem, so I can install macOS Sierra ? Is it possible for my system/configuration ? Thanks in advance Regards,
  24. Dear Forum, I need to install Mavericks or Yosemite on my laptop in order to use an usb audio box called VRM-BOX from Focusrite (support stopped). I decided to give Mavericks a try and, because I like to take some risks, I decided to install it using the last version of Clover (Clover_v2.4k_r4114). I first copied the Mavericks installation image to an usb drive using terminal command (formatted using MBR). Then I installed Clover on the usb drive and copied the dsdt.aml, HFSPlus.efi, and all the kexts present on this site for my model to the appropriate folders of the usb drive. The Clover settings are : "Bootlaoder (boot0af)" - "CloverEFI 64 - bits SATA" - "Driver64 UEFI (OsxAptioFix2Drv-64 - CSMVideoDxe-64 - PartitionDxe-64)" I inserted the usb drive inside the D630, started the machine and changed the bios settings according recommandations. After restart I pressed the F12 key to bring the boot menu and selected the usb drive. Clover's boot loader appeared and I selected the first option (Maverick Installation). It took around 45 minutes to complete and, after restart, I reached the Welcome window. After another restart I installed clover on the system disk and (after reboot) I was able to start the system using clover via the system disk (around 35 sec to boot). Everything was perfect until I installed the VRM-BOX driver and made some test. If the device is off (no room effect), the audio is played correctly (although with a little bit of distortion). If the device is switched on, audio is hatched, with long gaps of silence. I verified the cpu charge, it is not overloading. I tried a different usb port, but it is the same result. Could it be related to a lack of power available on usb ports? Could it be solved by installing E.D.P. or another kext? What about config.plist? I still have the original one, I have not found a proper one for my system. Could it help to change it? Should I try myhack? Thanks for watching.
  25. Hi, so typically you install your set of kexts, aml's, and clover.plist(with latest clover) and then boot. What if you want to change or update a kext, but you're afraid that the newer version won't work, and, in fact, will completely cripple the install? Is there a way to set up multiple clover entries and somehow different OSX kernel setups so that you can test different configurations?
