Hi, Dr.hurt. I'm glad to tell you that it's worked after I reinstalled my hackintosh. The R6RC2 is present version of mine. The new preferencePane worked. Tapping , swiping by two fingers and the Mission control are working. But I can't zoom any more. I zoomed whole screen when R5. The same gesture I do just can cause to swiping gesture.(maybe something need to adjust) Whatever I can experience the new software. Thx, Dr.hurt. (my hw version is v5)

You may have an problem with your install (corruption or something) or maybe it's another issue which I don't know.

Edit: You may wanna try deleting settings as per this guide before considering further steps...

Dr.hurt. I tried your method. But it didn't work. Do you remember the R5? You patch this kext so as to work. And you said: It's a trackpad of newer version. Whether it need some patches to work? Like a special version? Yeah, I check the booting dmesg after I put the R6C1 into the 10.12 folder, the system seems not detect this hw. (PS: I would wanna change a common trackpad really!!)

Well. I think my mackintosh meets some issue, such as the caps lock, photo booth and etc. I will reinstall recently. Thanks a lot.

The ioreg shows that Release 5 is loaded!!!!

Something is wrong with your kext installation. Maybe duplicates, or you're confusing old and new kexts.

Delete any voodoops2 kext from:

/System/Library/Extensions

/Library/Extensions

In clover folder: /kexts/10.12 and /kexts/other

After making sure everything is deleted, empty trash and run kext utility 2.6.6 app (search google) to rebuild caches.

WAIT till everything finishes.

THEN: put R6RC1 kext in clover's "/kexts/10.12" folder.

I am so sorry. I supposed you want to check the installation, the last ioreg is in normally using by r5 kext. This is in using R6c1. And I tried to check the s/l/e and l/e, then using the kext utility. But not found the hw, too. Check again, thanks.Kitkim’s MacBook Pro(R6c1.zip

I have reports from both sierra and el cap that pref pane works!!

Make sure you don't have conflicting kext or pref panes installed.

With the help Piranha, we got Caps Lock working on older OS X and fixed sleep issue.

R6B10:

- Sample Rate to 40 packets/sec on V7 and V3 Rushmore

- TouchPad works AFTER sleep (as tested by Piranha)

- Caps Lock works on Sierra AND older OS X (as tested by Piranha)

- Fix accidental touch while typing

Known Issues:

- As usual, most settings in preference panes will not work.

- Scroll will be very fast on OS X versions before Sierra. Edit plist to fix

- V1 and V2 are not working.

- V7 and V8 tracksticks are disabled for now

Hi, Dr.hurt. Merry Christmas! I test this R6B10kext. It worked perfect after sleep and slide smoothly. And the multi-finger slide performed perfect. But the preference of the trackpad shows NO TRACKPAD FOUND, whichever I use the old pane or the new pane.

You just gave me an idea about a possible reason for why things are a bit different between my V3 and your V7

My V3 Pinnacle is set to a sample rate of 40 while V3 Rushmore and V7 are set to 100.

R6B9:

- Set Sample Rate to 40 packets/sec on V7 and V3 Rushmore (not sure if HW will actually accept that command).

- Hopefully fix mistake from last release.

- Fix accidental input while typing.

As always, test sleep and general performance.

Hi, Dr.hurt. Could you update my touchpad driver? My touchpad version is the newer v3 (you must be impressed by it)and the only worked driver is your work. On the latest version, preference pane shows No trackpad found,ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ïœ¹ but I can use two finger to slide the page and I can't use tap by one finger. And the number lock maybe map the right arrow.

But it seems the single finger move need to use the thumb or two fingers to run it. And the two fingers gestures need three fingers to run.

Yeah, there was just ever singletouch with it on OS X without preference by the rehabman's(your kext make the preference work). And RC4 didn't make it work even buttons or scrolling, just like not having driver with it. Thanks for your doing. Hoping the newer version for mine.

Try RC4. If it still doesn't work, I'll make a special debug version for you to see where exactly it's failing.

- Reduce trackstick speed to half. (now divides raw speed by 4 instead of 2)

- Clean up V5 Dolphin init code.

PS. Trackstick code needs a massive cleanup but I'll postpone that to a future release. I don't wanna break anything else now!!

- Trackstick filter again (hopefully won't break it again)

- Fix V5 Dolphin bitmap decode
