No I am unable to use patched DSDT/SSDT successfully till now. always run into errors So its without any patched DSDTt/SSDT, quite happy with the ways things are.

hi here is my Config.plist here are the things i did to get my NVIDIA M1000M working 1. Install latest Webdriver for the os i.e. el captain 10.11.6 2. run agdp fix app (black screen) without it 3. install IntelBacklight.kext in clover (black screen without it) don't know the logic behind these 4. at times my OS X boots into black screen.close the lid and reopen to get the login screen. sometimes this step is not required. and if it works, it will work for a few days and revert to this stage. no clue how to solve this tried a lot of combinations. config.plist.zip

Hi Yes QE/CI is working with M1000M. brightness control doesn't work with M1000M. works with intel HD530. with M1000M internal display is connected through display port , so i guess brightness control won't work unless the connected panel is registered as backlight display. 1. HDMI out works 2. HDMI audio out shows in preferences but no sound 3. Displayport doesn't work. 4. Sleep Doesn't work with intel HD530 note HDMI out is getting connected with NVIDIA M1000M

Hi got it solved. I was missing the IO kit patch. running good now. any I idea, My bios Optimus switching goes off after every boot. I want to leave it enabled. thanks

Hi DVMT is set to 96mb i.e. 0x0432 0x3 QE/CI is there if inject intel is set to true and ig-platform-id = 0x191b0000 but internal laptop screen freezes at loading bar. OSX continues to boot and login screen appears on screen share and i see that QE/CI works. with inject intel=yes and ig-platform-id 0x19120000 ,still get 31mb ram and no QE/CI also 08/12/16 3:14:03.000 AM kernel[0]: [iGPU] Graphics driver failed to load: could not register with Framebuffer driver! same result with 0x191b000

I am using 17,1 have tried 14,2 with no success (with AGDP fix) tried changing the smbios with the given board id, didn't help which is the right direction with injectintel true or false?

Hi yes my DVMT has been set to 96MB. when I enable inject Intel, I do set the ig-platform-id to 0x191b0000? Yes i have tried nv_disable=1 and enable switchable graphics in BIOS (it gets disabled after every reboot, a separate issue) thanks

here is the graphics info from system report, QE and CI seems to be working. all checked via screen share

The backlight is working. its even controllable by fn +f11 and f12. but no image. the screen resolution as shown in screen share is less and is clear from there no display is detected. thanks

my intel hd 530 seems to be working fine, but boots to black screen. its shows all ok parameters if checked via screen share. 1536MB memory and reports intel SKL graphics. if inject intel=true in clover will boot with 31mb graphics but internal laptop screen shows up. do i need to edit port config? how do i determine and define it. thanks Update: See some update here
