griftopia Posted September 2, 2017 Share Posted September 2, 2017 Hi Bronxtech, How do you discover if you have eDP display (LVIS I think it is called?) on Windows? If there is a way to do that? I just fixed used precision M6500 i picked up and it booted into windows, and I would surely like to dual boot this sucker with sierra. Here are my specs. griftopia Posted September 2, 2017 Author Share Posted September 2, 2017 Sorry, I had tried that before when I did 10.11 on an HP laptop with Intel HD graphics. didn't work then. tried again, didn't work now. It says command not found. That's why I asked, if there's any other way. I've googled for how to find out on Windows, but can't find anything. Administrators Bronxteck Posted September 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted September 3, 2017 hmm your right I just checked ark intel and it does not specify a intel GPU for your clarksfield CPU. as for the NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800M it seems it is a legacy product so not sure if it is compatible with your OS.
