rj7766
So i am new to this whole thing. I think there may be some things I am missing. I have an E7270 i7 touch screen. I have seen some posts and I am sure there are some files I need to update but I cannot get an option to install osx when I boot to the usb drive. The partition is there when i plug the usb into a mac vm (high sierra install and efi partitions) My only option really is boot to windows efi partition attached efi folder from thumb drive thanks RJ EFI.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2018 If you're installing HS 10.13.4, you'll need the latest Clover (minimum 4428).
rj7766
i downloaded clover 4439 when i tried this earlier today and im using high sierra i downloaded late last year i think
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2018 The files in /EFI/Clover/drivers64UEFI are data 2/09/2018 so it does not reflect the latest Clover 4439 which should show today's date. Do you have UEFI and AHCI set in the BIOS?
rj7766
yes the instructions say to replace entire efi folder with generic plus boot pack? am I reading that wrong?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2018 Sorry I haven't updated those files. Go ahead and install latest Clover over it to update the files and try again. I'll update that soon, but those files should work fine if your MacOS is 10.1.3.3 and older.
rj7766
still no install option.. and this time it had default clover theme EFI.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2018 I said to install over it, not clean install. Anyway, from the generic EFI folder, copy HFSPlus.efi from Clover/drivers64UEFI to the same directory in the EFI partition If you want the Latitude theme, just copy the Latitude folder from the themes folder over to the same theme folder in the EFI partition. Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2018 The files you're using is not for the touchscreen model probably. Replace the Config.plist in /EFI/Clover Replace the DSDT/SSDT in /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched From the attachment here
