Oran
Hi All, I followed this post successfully installed high Sierra, everything seems working fine except wifi. Thanks for detailed guide. I was using USB wifi with BearExtender, now I got DW1560 installed, but only bluetooth is working. Are the drivers of this two wifi conflict each other? I have BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext, BrcmPatchRAM2.kext and FakePCIID_Broadcom_WiFi.kext in /L/E repaired permissions and rebuilt cache with kext utility. Attached are patched ACPI and config.plist I used, include original ACPI as well, could someone have a look and help me to fix the wifi problem? Thanks a lot. Oran
Hi Jake, that works, thank you so much, you are a Legend May I know what you have changed? Another question is I found battery in MAC runs much faster than in Win10, is this normal or anything I can do to improve it?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 8, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 8, 2018 Had to re-patch files from your Origin folder extracted from your system's current settings. As for Battery life, it's normal. OS X tends to be more graphics intensive. You could try decreasing the brightness level, disable translucency, check for apps that are running in background...safari with too many tabs open... etc Check Activity monitor, check battery status--shows what's Using significant energy... Turn off Location Services, bluetooth if not using... You get the idea
Oran
Then I need to learn from the beginning, I saw there are some syntax errors when compiling, but have no idea how to fix/patch it Thanks again for your time and detailed explanation.
