[SOLVED] Mojave Audio help E5550 (ALC293)

@Jake Lo helped with this build which worked great up to this point, now i can't get audio to work

 

Dell E5550

I7-5600U

Intel graphics 5500

GF840m disabled

AlC293 audio

 

clover folder attached

ran the following scripts in terminal 

after i run kextcache, i get ----Warning: /AppleInternal/Library/Extensions: No such file or directory

 

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /L*/E*

      sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E*

      sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E*

      sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

 

current version Lilu is in Library extensions

Try this, replace into /EFI/Clover

Use kext utiltiy or check activity monitor via all process

And - or

Try https://sourceforge.net/projects/voodoohda/files/

And if using apple alc --> check apple alc wiki on github for layout id

note:

sudo kextcache -i / -v -f

Actually i have it working now, it was user error, i did not physically copy the kext over to LE, once i did that and re-ran the scripts, all was good.

Lilu.kext + AppleALC.kext will run perfectly fine in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other, no need to move to /L/E.
