bbuontempo
Hi, currently running the latest version of high Sierra. I’ve tried to update to OS Mojave directly from the App Store however I’m having a kernel panic. Anyone know what I’m doig wrong or how I can fix this? Thanks

Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 21, 2018 Moderators Share Posted November 21, 2018 Clover setting: Install for UEFI booting only Install Clover in the ESP Drivers64UEFI\DataHubDxe-64 Drivers64UEFI\FSInject-64 Drivers64UEFI\SMCHelper-64 Drivers64UEFI\ApfsDriverLoader-64 Drivers64UEFI\AptioMemoryFix-64 Drivers64UEFI\PartitionDxe-64 Install Clover Preference Pane Add to Drivers64UEFI\HFSPlus.efi (Not included in Clover installer) Did you try replacing the file and folders linked? bbuontempo
Yup, I installed clover with those exact setting and I used the folder you posted above. It’s weird tho because I get to the install screen and It installs but when there’s about 2 minutes left the computer performs a restart and then I get the panic. Can it be I need to reformat the ssd and then install?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 21, 2018 Moderators Share Posted November 21, 2018 You need to reboot with the USB installer and then select "Install macOS from <name of your SSD>", take a couple of reboot before installation completes. Check Clover option to see if FixHeaders is enabled as well
