Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 21, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2019 Upon boot and plug in an HDMI or DP external monitor, does the internal display go blank?

Lego
Little update: I installed windows 10 pro and found out my trackpad is ALPS. I found another guide how to fix ALPS on this site and used one of the kexts and I put it VoodooPS2Controller-R6RC2.kext.zip in EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other and the gestures are showing in system preferences but none of them work. Hope I am still on topic with this guide.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 25, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 25, 2019 Only gesture you'll have are: 2 fingers scrolling tab tab and drag 2 fingers right click you can set zoom by setting some key combo You won't have pinch to zoom or swap...etc. I think this version disables the track stick scrolling too. Lego
why wouldn't my ALPS touch pad be fully supported if some other ALPS touch pads are.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 25, 2019 Moderators Share Posted July 25, 2019 That's all the functions you'll get with the kext, it's not just your touchpad. If you want all the functions like a real Mac, get a magic mouse or touchpad.
Lego
@carking88: If your wireless card is not working, make sure it is enabled in the BIOS along with bluetooth. Also, for the trackpad, in EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other, add this kext that is meant for ALPS but will get you only the basic gestures.
