amiharux
Good day! I have Latitude 7490 with i5 8250U, 24GB RAM and dw1560 Wifi/BT module installed. I am trying to install Mojave to internal 256GB M.2 SSD as a single OS, following Hervé's guide using Clover_Pack_7490_#6.zip It finally installed ok, but touchpad doesn't work and it doesn't see wifi and bt. How can I check, what's going wrong?
Administrators Hervé Posted August 29, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2019 DW1560 does not work OOB, it requires patching. You can look this up in our dedicated R&D->Wireless section. Occasionally, TouchPad won't work and may require a few reboots to be recovered. Never really investigated this further because I'm using an external mouse 99% of the time. But feel free to have a go at it.
amiharux
Ok thank you, I've got Wifi working by installing AirportBrcmFixup.kext. Touchpad is also working now (without buttons), but how can I set drag and drop jesture without force (like apple trackpad) and buttons?
Administrators Hervé Posted August 31, 2019 Administrators Share Posted August 31, 2019 I don't know, I never really looked into the Touchpad settings; I'm using an external wireless mouse all the time.

amiharux
Ok, I've got another behaviour when inserted USB stick to another port - it started loading normally, but then short Apple logo appeared to 1sec and black screen then... I've connected laptop to external hdmi. It's purple but at least I can something is happening let's see how it will install...
amiharux
The system doesn't load when VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID kexts present in EFI/Clover/kexts/Other. I removed it, now the system is loaded, but no keyboard and touchpad working... How to get kexts working, could you advice me?
Administrators Hervé Posted September 6, 2019 Administrators Share Posted September 6, 2019 I really can't say more than what I described in the guide. The kexts I posted in my Clover pack all worked Ok for me (and for other people too).
