bluesbendeer
Hello everyone, I have a WIFI/BT problem with my Dell E7450 with DW 1560 wifi card. A month and half ago, I updated Lilu, Whatevergreen, AirportBrcmFixup, and some other kexts on my Hackintosh. After that wifi started to act strange and drop after each wake up. I rolled back the previous kexts, however, it did not solve the issue. Now each time, I need to turn the pc off and on again and it is annoying to be honest. I attached the debugging files as it is advised here, could you please help me with this issues? Thanks in advance. debug_15249.zip
acquarius.13
Hi, did you ever try to repair permissions and rebuild cache? sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* sudo touch -f /L*/E* sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E* sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U /
bluesbendeer
Hi, Yes I do that after each kext update. However the problem still continues.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 16, 2019 Moderators Share Posted September 16, 2019 According to your IOReg file you have Lilu v1.3.8 yet in your Clover/kext/other , you have different Lilu version. Same for Whatevergreen, AirportBrcmFixup.kext, and AppleALC.kext. Make sure you have the same version in both locations or just keep them all in Clover kexts except for BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext & BrcmPatchRAM2.kext should stay in /L/E/ Repair permissions and rebuild cache as usual if you make any changes. bluesbendeer
@Jake Lo, I updated kexts in EFI, however the problem still persists. I am not sure why this issue is still going on. I created another debug file for evaluation. debug_18728.zip

Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 19, 2019 Moderators Share Posted September 19, 2019 Try deleting nvram.plist from /EFI
bluesbendeer
Unfortunately, I do not have that file in EFI. I use the bootpack that you created in e7450 post.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 23, 2019 Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2019 It's found in the debug file you have uploaded so you must be looking at the wrong place
