npolite
Hi All, I'm working on a few Mojave updates and think I have a near finished E5540 bootpack. The only two issues that I see is that the display is a bit dim (no control options in Display either) and battery level is not displaying properly.. I used a 7440 config.plist. It seemed to have helped for the video acceleration as well as the audio and USB ports but the display is a bit dim. I've attached the EFI if someone can help me out. Once it's resolved I can help upload the final EFI to help anyone else out. Thanks EFI.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 20, 2019 Moderators Share Posted September 20, 2019 You're missing a few items and have some extra unnecessary kexts Add attached Patched folder to /EFI/Clover/ACPI Replace Config.plist file Add attached kext to /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other Remove from /E/C/kexts/Other AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext NoTouchID.kext NullCPUPowerManagement.kext RealtekRTL8100.kext RealtekRTL8111.kext SATA-unsupported.kext VoodooTSCSync.kext XHCI-unsupported.kext AtherosWiFiInjector.kext //Atheros no longer supported in Mojave BrightnessFix.zip
npolite
Thanks Jake for the help. The brightness issue is fixed but the battery is still not displaying. If you think we have tried what we can could you post the bootpack to your master list? EFI.zip
npolite
I went back and it looks like I missed the copying of the kext file. Everything is working now and here is the EFI folder. Thanks again for your help as always. EFI.zip
npolite
Found one more issue not sure if we can fix it. The trackpad works and even the gestures to scroll up and down work, but I am not able to tap the pad to click.
