gebele04
Hello everybody, I've got a strange issue on my MSI GE75 9SF Laptop (I7-9750h, 16Gb RAM, intel uhd630, 17' FHD) hackintosh. All was working perfectly with Catalina 10.15.2 (thanks to tuncas for that ). Last week, I let my hackintosh downloading the 10.15.4 update. At reboot, I had a kernel panic (due to memory) but I found how to avoid this issue by updating clover to r5107 or higher version and after updating Lilu, virtualSMC and AppleALC kexts. But, this done, everything works perfectly except the trackpad. In fact, it works like a mouse and is not recognized as a trackpad (no trackpad found in Preference menu). So, clicks on the trackpads works properly but not with the clic buttons (I'm not sure to be clear). Can you help me for this issue please ? thanks (and stay at home !!) Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 13, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 13, 2020 In order for the preference to appear, make sure the battery status is working. If you have kexts in /L/E or /S/L/E, make sure you have repair permissions and rebuild cache sudo kextcache -i /
gebele04
Hello Jake Lo and thank you for your response. I've already repaired permission and rebuilded cache by using the fonction "sudo kextcach -I/" but nothing changed. Is it possible that a kext available with 10.15.2 is not available in 10.15.4 version. It seams strange... Thanks a lot

Moderators Jake Lo Posted April 15, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 15, 2020 Update to latest VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID. In Config file under kexttoPatch, you can disable the 2 patches by CoolStar. No longer necessary.
