richiekotzen
Hi guys, I'm trying to install Mojave on this Pc an Optiplex 3010 with an i5 3570 4gb ram processor and I think an intel hd 2500. In part I did it, I installed the system but here are the problems. 1: the pc has a ssd samsung 860 500gb, the boot time is very long more than 1 minute 2: I can't recognize the Intel HD, or rather it sees me as an HD4000, but I believe without acceleration and if I'm not mistaken it should be an HD2500. 3: the front usb not recognized, 4: hdmi audio I don't have the dsdt this is my efi Used clover as a bootloader v.5118 EFI.zip
Administrators Hervé Posted June 8, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 8, 2020 Intel i5-3570 is indeed fitted with HD2500 iGPU. That's unsupported as posted in our unsupported GPUs thread. There is no patch or workaround whatsoever. You'd have to replace your current CPU by a model with HD4000 iGPU or install a supported PCIe graphics card. richiekotzen
I found a GIGABYTE NVIDIA GT710, could it be good for high sierra?
Administrators Hervé Posted June 9, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 9, 2020 What's the reference/part number of the card? Kepler-based GT710 are supported OOB up to current Catalina. Same applies to other GK208-based GT720/GT730. If it's a Fermi model, it's of no use.
