Skyfox61
I have disabled SMCDellSensor.Kext and also the VoodooPS2mouse.kext but when I try to replace the VoodooPS2 Controller with 1revenger1 voodoo the Laptop does not start it stalls on the white Apple logo. Not sure If I'm doing thing correctly. But the Track-Pad still is not working
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2020 Try this one, made a modification VoodooPS2Controller.kext.zip
Skyfox61
Adding the 2 Kext files doesn't not change anything. Trackpad still doesn't work. Disabling the VoodooPS2Controler.kext disables the keyboard on startup But we advancing... At least Audio is working now.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 23, 2020 Ok, try these. VoodooPS2 is for Elantouch but it works for me E7470. If that also not work, then ApplePS2 will be your last resort. Make note of the plugins when you add them one at a time. PS2Controller.zip
Skyfox61
Nor sure what you wanted to say with try these as there were no Attachments. Also a bit unsure about the plugins you are talking... Sorry I'm a newby and this is my first time I'm doing this hackintosh using OpenCore 0.6.3. Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 24, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 24, 2020 Oops, attachment added to post If you right click on each PS2 and select show package contents, you'll find those plugins under the Plugins folder Look at the corrent voodoops2controller plugins in the Config to see how they are added
Skyfox61
I have tried both but same results. VoodooPS2 gave the same results as the one I have. Keyboard works but Touch-pad doesn't. The plugins are loaded well and accordingly. ApplePS2 is worse as no Keyboard or Touchpad works. Look at the printout I'm sending as it seems there are 2 plugins in different packages with the same name.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted November 25, 2020 Moderators Share Posted November 25, 2020 Just enable 1 VoodooInput.kext, disable the other Make sure you select Reset NVRam at OC picker when you make any changes Don't think you need VoodooI2C unless you have a touchscreen model. If you don't, then disable/delete them Here, try this config, added the ApplePS2 config.plist.zip
Skyfox61
Can't disable Voodoo2C as the laptop does not start. But I have removed. a couple of Kexts and it is better now By te way, the Ethernet is working now. My mistake. Will try your config.plist later on
