ding3839
Dear @Jake Lo, thank you for all of your devotion to the whole community firstly and really appreciate!Few days ago I succeeded in installing High Sierra 10.13.6 on my Latitude e5480. Now it seems only no trackpad and hdmi signal output that I am stuck up. Trackpad can only work as normal mouse without gesture support, I am not sure if the model of my laptop support trackpad gesture. Hope you could help me with that. Thanks again! Attachments list are specs of my laptop, EFI folder and debug file. specs of laptop.zip EFI.zip debug_2464.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 18, 2021 Moderators Share Posted March 18, 2021 You may only have 2 fingers scrolling, 2 finger right click and tap to drag, and basic mouse movement. Not much support for the Alps I2C touchpad I'm afraid. You should enable DellSMBIOSPatch in the Config file to fix the truncated smbios name as shown in your IOReg file. For HDMI, try deleting framebuffer-con1-busid, not sure that's needed.
ding3839
Jake thank you for your kind reply. I followed your advice and now the smbios name is complete and HDMI video output works perfect! So amazing, you really made my day, thanks again!
