Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 16, 2021 Moderators Share Posted July 16, 2021 Make sure you set BIOS to: UEFI and enable AHCI RAID won't work i that's what you have and Secure Boot disabled
volad_m
I've checked all these BIOS settings, but still have this issue I'm planning to install masOS over Windows with formatting all available space. Also I tried to download BaseSystem.dmg a 3 times to avoid checksum error and using damaged images, but still see same Opencore bootloader image with NONAME and error 00:000 00:000 OCB: DMG has been altered 00:009 00:009 OCB: LoadImage failed - Unsupported All my tries was with EFI from topic starter. Just downloaded/copied it to USB flash drive and created folder com.apple.recovery.boot. Then put BaseSystem.dmg and BaseSystem.chunklist to this folder
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 17, 2021 Moderators Share Posted July 17, 2021 You can't boot from a dmg file. You can restore the DMG to USB
mrjerox
I might've gotten the files U need, I took them from gibMacOS and they worked for me to install Big Sur on my E5570. Text me if U want them, so I can upload it on GDrive

maciek4231
I have the same error. how did you manage to fix that? I followed opencore guide and there wasn’t anything about restoring dmg to usb
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 22, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 22, 2021 you can download the app file from App Store and use createinstallmedia commands ...assuming you have a Mac to do it from
maciek4231
No, sadly I do not have a Mac. I downloaded .dmg and .chunklist file with macrecovery exactly like in opencore guide. Shouldn’t that work?
