ddiego
I started off by installing SL with generic extras and liked the Apple-like boot screen (grey with Apple-like logo) and the shutdown screen (grey). I then upgraded to ML with the Extra Pack from the compatibility page and now am met with an ugly metal-like waffle screen and then pages of code before the OS appears. Also, on shutdown I see all the shutdown code. Now I realize that this may be useful for some, but I find it takes away from the experience. Is there any way to install boot and shutdown screens more in keeping with the original Apple experience? Standing by...
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 18, 2013 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2013 that's a theam. you can edit your org.chame boot plist and not have it use one. or rename the theam folder as for the text at boot that is verbose mode hit you have to see where -v is being called from it can be a kernel flag in nvram or in your org.chameleon.boot.plist.
