feldmm
after updating from 10.8.4 to 10.8.5, my bluetooth and USB 3.0 (via expresscard54) are not connecting. I restored from a clone to 10.8.4 and everything is working I tried again with 10.8.5 - same problem I restored again from the clone and everything is working I was hoping to upgrade to Mavericks when available but worried that I'm maxed at 10.8.4 E6500 (Nvidia) with C2D 2.66ghz, 4GB, SSD thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted September 17, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 17, 2013 It's more a matter of kext needing patching, at least we know it's a certainty for Bluetooth. Apple changed the way they handle BT again in 10.8.5. It's very close to what they do in Mavericks.
Darvinko
Try going to Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist and try removing it or replacing it with the plist from 10.8.4, run MyFix (full) and reboot
