techscoop
Hello. I was successful in fixing my D520 built in lan card. Attached you will find a zip file with the dsdt.aml built by me and the com.apple.Boot.plist I am using. I placed both under /Extra. I hope this will help. Administrators Hervé Posted October 10, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 10, 2013 What was the problem? What did you do to fix it?
techscoop
Well, I am running OSX 10.6.8, and there was no way to have the lan card working. I built the dsdt.aml file to fix the internal screen going off problem occurring after boot, but it corrected also the lan card problem. Administrators Hervé Posted October 10, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 10, 2013 Was your initial DSDT (the "defective" one) from the OSXL bootpack?
techscoop
I installed EDP a few days ago because I had some problems with my new ssd unit, and built a configuration from the model database. It created a new /Extra folder with a new dsdt.aml file and made a backup of my old one. My problems with the ssd unit got solved, but the lan did not work any more. So, after struggling for a while, I put back the dsdt.aml I built before, and the com.apple.Boot.plist I had under /Extra. With the latest EDP and my 2 old files, all seems to run ok now.
