requiem78
I made one step forward today but I have not finished succesfully yet.I used the guide from Darvinko member for E6400 without nvidia's kexts. The installer now can see my disk but I have these two issues. 1)If I make clean install using genetic Extra the installation is successful but when I boot from hd I'm getting the message "Still waiting for root device". 2)If I choose my own extra during installation the installation occurs a start up disk error and the installation not finishing successfully. Administrators Hervé Posted November 14, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2013 Unless you have an existing Windows partition that you want to keep, yes wipe out your HDD and start afresh with GUID partition mode.
