TheNuutti8
Update: tried OSx86 ModUSB by nawcom with no luck. it got stuck on this message: Still waiting for root device... Is there something wrong with my usb?
Administrators Hervé Posted March 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2015 Try various PCI root values with Chameleon option PciRoot=x, where x=1, 2, 3, 4. (never seen more than 4 on a computer so far). How did you configure HDD mode in BIOS? Sometimes, you may simply default BIOS settings entirely and simply set SATA mode to AHCI. Try a few things, experiment. I assume you've used the nforce ATA kexts as stipulated by Bronxteck, right?

TheNuutti8
And i dont think, that nforce4 chipset would support AHCI, atleast it handles all sata devices as pata masters
Administrators Hervé Posted March 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2015 No idea, never had one, it was just in case the option was available in BIOS...
TheNuutti8
I'll try this boot flag config tomorrow, when i get out of school: rd(0,0)/Extra/modbin_kernel arch=i386 -force64 PciRoot=x -x Any other flags i should add?
Administrators Hervé Posted March 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2015 Why use -force64 with the installer? This is really for apps that you want run in 64bit space under 32bit kernel...
TheNuutti8
well idk i just want to test all the stuff possible its actually an optional thing now
Administrators Hervé Posted March 17, 2015 Administrators Share Posted March 17, 2015 PCI root issue are more likely resolved by: bootloader option: PciRoot=x bootloader option: npci= DSDT patch Alternative disk controller kext (eg: patched IOATAFamily kext, nforce kext, ...)
